Giya seemed to notice Awamori laughing at her for her first comments on killing him at full power. It was a serious thing and she could only close her eyes at him as he chuckled away at this truth. Giya knew not how her energy was generated but anything humans made could not match her not even their own hard work. This is what she strongly felt having beaten up or killed plenty of people in her time. She remained silent with pursed lips and let him talk especially on the thing she really wanted him to take note of; her pregnancy. She was already calculating the numbers in terms of how long she had before she was useless in a fight and how much energy it was going to sap from her.
When he finally got to the subject she continued to remain quiet until he finished speaking and gasping for air between words. It seemed he wanted to leave this planet. She shook her head no and replied, "While it is good of you to be concerned about all of us and leaving the planet to protect your group and I from attack I honestly think we should stay. We're here on the Changling homeworld and thus we could really do some damage to them if we moved fast and struck now to hurt them. They don't even know we're here and if we attacked rapidly and then left shortly thereafter they would be down some time to plan for invading Earth to capture it, if that's what they want. They may just outright blow it up."
She rested one hand on her knee and let the other arm's elbow prop itself against her other knee while she rested her head in the palm of her hand. "I'm concerned if we don't fight now rather then later I may run into that diminishing power wall you speak of. Currently, I'm running at full capacity but if the Changelings delay their invasion for even two or three months beyond our time here, month three or four of my pregnancy, I'm looking at a 50% power decrease in my body's overall fighting power due to putting on 40 lbs. of weight. After that, well, I gain another 40 lbs. and feel definitively by month seven I'll be unable to fight due to having a rather strong child growing in me that will need all my energy to provide it with a strong barrier." She explained trying to give him a fair run down of her overall pregnancy. These were the estimates her nano-machines were beginning to tell her.
"I can't have people smashing a hole through my belly so this body's energy is going to turn my torso area into a heavily protected baby bump." She stated with a smile on her face. "Not sure why it needs to since I'm already strong but all systems are likely going to prioritize guarding my stomach like ea normal body would."
After this Giya stood up from the bed side and headed for the door. "You get some rest and let me know when that ship is ready. I'm getting off this rock with you first thing." She called out from the doorway whilst not facing Awamori. What she regretted to tell him was that she intended not to leave the planet though truthfully and instead decided to possibly return to her old allies. The reason being while the Earthlings had interesting quirks that made them different in the universe from everyone else Giya still wasn't programmed to completely follow them after all that had happened. Her battle with Awamori had proven violent and here now while she seemed like a normal woman her mind also noted that the way Awamori looked now, with his whole body hooked up to a bedside, he could never be a strong, new leader for her to follow.
Note: I'm going to see if I can try to end things here now.
