Another day, another dollar on planet Daikondu. The sun's cruel eye stared down onto the wastelands and divided empires of the planet, pushing back at the darkened edges of dawn, reclaiming the colors of day that had been washed away into black by the moonlit night. Night on Daikondu sported a tempearture that could barely even be classified as "cool" at best. During the day, the sun blasted down onto the barren planet- if there was a way to turn off the heat, most of the saiyans on the planet would seize the chance. It had been even hotter than usual, if that was even possible. However, a light rain last night had ended a short drought, coating the ground with puddles that would soon fade into nothingness from the the wrath of Daikondu's star. Morning had just barely come, and most of the saiyans on the planet were fast asleep or just getting ready for the day- save for one mechanic that had strayed into the vast, empty wilderness.
Capper trotted through the Central Wastes, stopping atop a rather large red bluff, staring at the rising sun. Sunlight was an elixir after so many hours of darkness. The air was still stuffy, filled with dust and pebbles in the howling wind of the wastelands. Yesterday, Capper's father had taken him out to these wastelands for the hundredth time, and still tried to teach the saiyan how to summon his own skull blasters. His father and namesake, Caper, knew one incredible technique where one could summon a floating skull to fire a beam of Ki at someone. But what made the attack so unique was that those skulls had sentience. Intelligence. Capper wanted to be able to summon his own blasters, but he just couldn't seem to learn how to! If he did summon them, what animal would they be based off of? Would they be nice? How the heck did the attack work in the first place?! Capper's father seemed to pass of the blasters as being summonable demon guardians of the sort, and tried to get the combatant and mechanic to summon one by imagining the worst thing that could possibly happen to him, just to emulate the dire situation that was needed to summon the blasters for the very first time. But all that happened was that Capper just got really sad from imagining such a thing. To be honest, Capper kind of felt like his old man was dissappointed in him. His dad always reassured the self-conscious saiyan that such a thing was not possible, but it was a constant fear that the people-pleasing oddball of a saiyan "warrior" could not shake off.
Thus, he had come out here to train and maybe finally be able to finally use that heirloom skull blaster technique his father had desperately been trying to teach his son. Boulders and dead trees were his targets, but they couldn't exactly be sparring partners. Sitting on top of a rock, Capper sighed as he formed a ball of orange ki at his hand, blasting a boulder to bits with a bored look on his face. Training with none just would not do. He had snuck out of his house to get some peace of mind away from his... rambunctious and very protective parents, but at least they were willing to spar with him. Maybe coming out here was pointless, but at least he had some quiet time to think. Slumping over with a sigh, the tactical saiyan closed his eyes and just began to think. However, the mechanic was quickly snapped back into reality and out of his mind when a sudden voice caused him to flinch, tail sticking upwards with every hair on his body spiked up in shock.
