Yo! Seeing as Shinjin have been recently introduced, I figure I'd suggest a Potara mechanic for them, seeing as it's absent.
The way it'd work is as follows:
Potara Earrings (Fusion Item)
The magical earrings worn by all Shinjin. This set of jewelry will allow the user to fuse with a partner if they both equip one earring. Once fused, their power is boosted immensely! The cost however is grand; the personalities of the two beings are mixed together forever, meaning the both of them are lost to create this new being.
This item is also available for purchase in the shop, provided you've done the following:
-Have been to Otherworld.
-Have met a Shinjin
Should both of these requirements be met, you can purchase a pair of Potara Earrings for 10,000 Zeni
The Potara Earrings are a trait that all Shinjin can choose to have. If they choose it, they must forgoe the Healing trait. If they forgoe the earring trait, their Shinjin will have a single earring instead of two, making fusion impossible.
When the fusion occurs, the following can happen:
-If the two fusee's are not of the same race, the stronger of the two will gain 40% of the weaker fusee's EXP
-If the two fusee's are of the same race, the stronger of the two will gain 50% of the weaker fusee's EXP
-If a Shinjin is involved in the fusion, he will become the dominant personality regardless of who was originally stronger, gaining 55% of the other's EXP
Regardless of which of the above occurred, the following is true for all fusions:
-The Dominant Fusee picks one trait from his starter race and his Subordinate Fusee's starter race. The Subordinate then chooses one from either. If they're of the same race, this is irrelevant.
-If the resulting fusion surpasses the Dice Requirement for a transformation, that transformation is automatically unlocked (for instance, if the 50% bonus EXP would shoot the fusion into range for SSJ2, then they automatically start play with that transformation unlocked.)
-The Dominant Fusee keeps all of their original techniques, while the Subordinate is allowed to transfer over two Supers and one Ultimate for free. If the Subordinate and Dominant fusee's wish, the Ultimate can be a combination of the Subordinate and Dominate Fusee's ultimate attacks (I.E: If Vegeta fuses with Goku, Vegeta can transfer his Final Flash Ultimate over to create Final Kamehameha)
I'll add to this a bit more as suggestions roll in. Comments are welcome!
