HEROES BRED FROM TRAGEDY
Origin: Planet Konats and Off Worlders
Characteristics: The Konatsian people are humanoid in appearance, save for the large, pointed ears they all have, which is their identifying mark. Despite that, their overall appearance varies from person to person. They have a path of progression similar to Earth's Humans, in that some remarkable members of their race are capable of becoming incredibly powerful using ki and even some types of magic. Their planet had fallen to peril nearly 2,000 years ago, but the survivors were able to rebuild slowly over time. Tales of two Konatsian Heroes are still told to this day, Tapion and Minoshia, with many members of the planet wishing to become heroes themselves. With this story in mind, they have a strong sense of justice and have never been known to falter in the face of evil.

- Dice: 2d20
- Zeni: 100
Racial Traits:
- Bravery: A Konatsian is known to be strong even in the face of certain doom. Because of this, their EXP gains are increased by 50% if they are fighting against an opponent who is 2x stronger than them or greater. i.e. Double their dice sides (d20 vs d40, d50 vs d100, etc.)
- Hero's Swiftness: A Konatsian warrior will rush head first into battle, without thinking twice of enacting a swift sense of justice over their foes. Because of this they have an init roll of 1d125.
- Swordsmen: The ancient story of Tapion, Minoshia, and the Guardian God revolves around the power of ancient swords and magic. Because of this, almost all Konatsians aimed to be skilled with the blade. If an Offensive Enhancer is purchased in the form of some sort of blade, the price is 25% less. This also includes all upgrades for said blade.
Transformations
Transformation | Required Dice | Power Increase | Description |
Konatsian Warrior | d50 | Permanent 3d | Once a Konatsian has trained their mind and body up to a certain point they are able to increase their overall power dramatically. It is at this point in their progression that the Konatsian Warrior can be considered on their way to attaining the "Heroic Power" which is said to be the greatest power in the Universe. |
Konatsian Guardian | d70 | Permanent 4d | The level that a Konatsian attains beyond that of a simple "Warrior." The Konatsian's strength becomes unmatched, being able to call themselves a "Guardian" of the people against all evil. It is their drive and determination to become a true Hero that pushes them forward. |
Hero | d90 | Permanent +4 Max GP | Mind and body perfected as one in a single vessel, the Konatsian at this point has attained the level of the fabled "Guardian God" of over 2,000 years ago. The same power that allowed him to cut the evil beast Hirudegarn in two pieces in order for it to be sealed. Not many, if at all, have ever reached this level aside from the one Konatsian. |
