Humiliation . . .It wasn't something Pars had felt very often. He was a very pampered child, with pretty good wits about him. he was usually never put into a situation such as what happened on earth. The King of the North, Retasu had appeared before Pars as his opponent during the World Martial Arts Tournament, and though Pars did attempt to put up a good fight, The northern king's pure strength overwhelmed him, knocking him around the ring with almost no effort at the fights end. He had been knocked unconscious, and when Pars had awoken, a feeling of shame washed over him. His body ached all over, and his breathing was heavy. A combined feeling of shame and rage drove him from earth, with Pars not even stopping to watch the finale of the tournament.
He'd leave earth in a healing chamber, his legs wobbly and weak from his previous engagement, and eventually after drifting in and out of consciousness many times, Pars finally arrived on Daikondou. Pars immediately shut himself within the walls of his castle, a mighty rage beginning to slowly build up within him. Over the course of the next few days, the generals of the south would begin to convene at the castle on Pars's orders. They were brought there under utmost secrecy, nobody was told of the reason they had all gathered at Clara Victoria. Most of them had their suspicions though, many even arrived with an unusual eagerness.
They'd all gathered in a makeshift "war room", which was basically the dining room but converted for more secret, military dealings. The generals waited restlessly, seated around a long table, filled with snacks, maps, and other various things. Whispers and gossip emanated from all around, suddenly ceasing as the generals heard the large creak of the main hall's doors being slowly opened. The room was filled with a grim quietness as Pars made his way to his seat, continuing on even after he'd already reached and sat in it.
The silence continued, causing more to shift nervously in their seats, Until-
"...King's Plan!!" - Pars let out a massive shout, shaking the very room, causing some generals to even flinch. At first, the leaders of the southern army sat confused as to what Pars had just yelled, but very quickly, it began to click in their heads, and a rousing cheer rose up among the war council. "Kings Plan" was one of many plans thought up and altered many times as a possible plan of action against the north. The military leadership had previously been divided on which plan to formally use, and it had fallen onto Pars to give the final verdict. Pars, however, had put this decision off after having fought the Northern King together with Beefa, thinking it not to be necessary at the time.
Pars giving his verdict now, however, essentially meant that he was giving the green light to all his generals that it was time to launch an operation. The reason for the generals rejoice was mainly that they had felt until this moment, that pars were no better than the previous king, who had not acted in the north either. This single act by pars, however, laid their doubts to rest (though some did wonder what caused pars to suddenly decide).
The next few hours were filled with typical, boring strategy stuff, and it was decided that the operation would be conducted in total secrecy and that the attack would not involve anything other than the subjugation of "Kings Landing", a port from which the south could stage other attacks.
The meeting ended, and the generals left Clara Victoria eager for battle. Pars let out a sigh, calling a servant to his side. "...Call Beefa... you know.. the hybrid who sometimes hangs around here... tell her to prepare for battle. She's being deployed" Pars relayed to the servant, who nodded and begun to turn away. "Oh, also tell her she can bring along anyone she deems fit, that's all" Pars said, turning away from the servant, before heading to his room. 'today was an eventful day' he thought. 'might as well get some sleep' The next few days were quite hectic. The plan was already made and done with, all that was left was to deploy troops and brief them on their tasks. The attack wouldn't involve a lot of men, maybe 1 or two brigades at most, so the briefing was pretty simple to tackle as well. Over those few days, the men drilled their tasks into their skulls, But there was a primary issue with this plan, and it was that there were likely northern sympathizers within the southern army. The surprise was crucial to this operation, However, there were no real countermeasure pars could employ in this situation, so what Pars tried to do was to speed up the preparation as much as possible and try to get the attack ongoing before much info leaked. A few days pass, and the army is as ready as it can be on such short notice.Pars led the way across the wastelands, using his immense strength to take out unsuspecting outposts and scouts scattered throughout the land, and making sure that the army was unseen until they had arrived at Kings Landing. It was here that Pars noticed a distinct difference in his speed and power, filling him with a slight optimism for the upcoming battle. From what he could tell, Pars was **at least** on Retasu's level when they had fought at the tournament, if not slightly weaker. That thought aside though, Pars did his duty well and the brown wastelands soon turned into green grasslands. They had made it into the north, and their goal lay in sight. The army began to surround the city with their numbers, the army finally making itself known. Alarms blared and merchant ships began departing from the port cityPars let out one of his usual grins, crossing his arms as he tossed his iron armor to the side, and by his lonesome begun approaching the city, his power slowly flaring up and shaking the very earth beneath them. Pars let out one, triumphant command powered by his ki, which echoed throughout the surrounding lands. "....SURRENDER!!!!!!!!"
Woah, what a doozy. You can basically skip the first few paragraphs, its just backstory and explaining stuff. Health : 705/7056/6 GPDice : 3d47Also- Beefa and Lottus , you guys are invited to my little thread thing (though you don't have to come if you don't want too).

"Heeeeeh?! What'd'ya mean you don't know what the operation is?"
Lottus frowns at Rapini, letting out a sigh of exasperation. He knew she would get riled up over this.
"I told you what I know, which is nothing, Rapini." Lottus replies. "I got the call to report back while I was still on patrol in the wastelands. I don't have much longer before I need to meet up with my unit for the briefing."
Rapini leans back in her chair, holding the back of her head in her hands, leering at Lottus suspiciously. After a few moments of silence between them, Rapini lets out an exasperated, and exaggerated, sigh of resignation.
"Well, my unit wasn't called on for whatever this is. All we know is that we'll be doin' double rotations for scoutin' the border." she finally tells him, letting all of her chair legs touch back on the floor. She stands up and walks over to Lottus, and presses her left fist against his chest. Despite her eyes only reaching about to his chest, the gesture elicits a grin from Lottus. "Whatever it is, you get back in one piece, y'hear?"
"Yeah, I get it." Lottus replies, still grinning.
During the first day, Lottus stood with his unit and more than several dozen other Saiyans for the briefing. Though the way things were being explained left a lot of other things unexplained. For Lottus, it seemed like the commanders were avoiding saying outright what the preparations were really for, even though he had his suspicions. For the rest of the day, and the next couple days following, Lottus and the others were put through rigorous regimens - training to sharpen their combat skills, and test how much the peace had effected them in the months since King Pars took power through his sudden civil war.
More than once, Lottus caught some Saiyans giving him odd looks - nothing direct, but the typical peripheral glances and leers he had become accustomed to seeing since the civil war ended, and his integration into the new regime's military had been made official. But now, at last, they were being informed of the true purpose of the harsh drills and secrecy - they were indeed preparing to invade the Northern Kingdom. The news doesn't completely surprise Lottus, but his eyes narrow as he looks upon the Generals flanking the King. Around him, muffled mutters of excitement reverberate through the crowd of warriors. All of them are eager to wage battle once more, and this time, finally, against the dreaded Northern Kingdom.
Not too long after the revelation, the army was on the move - flying en mass over the kingdom and past the borders. Lottus wasn't situated too close to the King, but he was able to see the King move ahead of the rest of the army. Vibrations in the air, and soon witnessing destroyed outposts tell Lottus that the King was taking measures to prevent word from reaching back to the North of the incoming assault. After several hours of flight, they finally reach their destination - a place called King's Landing. Lottus found himself thinking of this as being somewhat ironic.
Soon, the army surrounds the city, eliciting panicked reactions from the city's inhabitants. Shuttles and freighters rush to escape the inevitable carnage to come, and King Pars' voice booms through the air. Amidst the floating mass of Saiyans, Lottus readies himself for battle, focusing his Ki, waiting for the cities defenders to show themselves.

3D40, 3120 EXP, 720/720 HP, 6/6 GP It wasn't easy to get Beefa to come to the next battle but she had come anyway. This was no thanks to one of Pars' servants coming by to drag her to the battlefield. The young teen did not want to be here but she did not have a choice. Beefa had gone and ran away from Lottus after their fight due to what she had seen herself do and her uncontrollable power then. Power she now remembered had crushed her own mother by accident when all she wanted to do was protect her years aggo. Saiyans from the north had come to take her away but her demonic power had manifested to stop them and even though it did so power Beefa realized now her foot had splat her own mother into the ground. It was horrible to remember this and the fact that Lottus kind of actually looked like some of the thugs that made her do it. It's why she subconsciously thought to stay away from him and the army for a while only to find later servants of the king knocking on the door of a rest stop's room, out in the wastelands, a few days afterwards. She was staying there and found they had the audacity to be quite persistent in knocking. Right then was not the best time though for she wasn't in the best of moods and had company. A young Saiyan like herself bending over the side of her bed trying to find a shirt. You see... Beefa wasn't one hundred percent happy and the best way she knew to keep company was to chat it up. One thing led to another and said young Saiyan got to make this the time of his life alongside her. When they came knocking, the soldiers though, he bolted out like a one of the six legged creatures of this planet with furious desire to leave her sight. Anyways, long story short she stood on a battle field in a pink combat suit with white and brown Saiyan armor on and matching white boots and gloves. She was armed to the teeth in this gear and took to watching Saiyans flee in multiple ships from the northern city of Emperor Retasu. She yawned, covering her mouth with a gloved hand and sighed. "I wish I was back in bed." She complained. "I'm a weakling so why do I have to be out here?" This question was posed to Lottus whom she now stood near while he was overlooking the overall terror. She just wanted to get out of here and go back to her devious ways. The only reason she thought she could be here is because of what she did to Lottus during their spar. She was like a secret weapon. Her growing abilities were astounding even though she was far from a normal Saiyan. Problem was she could not access her titanic state right now. Her Makyo Star pendant was broken and whatever energy she tapped into before she concluded might have come from residual effects of it. It was no good to have her here when her only real ability was to "Get Big and Smash Things!" much like any Oozaru could do without turning into the ugly brutes. It was the only good thing she liked about being a half Saiyan because everything else about her stuck out like a sore thumb. Her non-Saiyan ways and appearance.

. . . Though Pars really should have expected it, the city didn't seem like it was going to capitulate over a little shout. Pars stood stagnant in the open field, his aura slowly fading as he rested his arms behind him. The goal of this attack was to capture the "port" so that the south could stage future attacks into northern territory more easily, so it occurred to Pars that perhaps just sending his army into the city to engage in house to house combat might not be the most "preserving" thing to do. On the other hand, Pars needed to take the port city quickly, before any northern reinforcements arrived, and before the shock factor of the attack left the northern soldiers minds. He had made his choice, though before he signaled for the assault to begin, Pars figured he should find Beefa just in case a certain northern king showed up. Using a bit of energy sensing, he quickly located Beefa, as well as another, slightly stronger saiyan whom she was talking to. "Well... I can answer that question" He told Beefa, announcing his presence before continuing- "You proved your strength when you fought against retasu with me, you are no weakling" Pars said, turning his gaze over to Lottus. "And neither is your friend apparently, who is are you?" Pars asked, shifting his gaze back between the city and the group every so often.

Lottus silently watches the city, awaiting the inevitable orders to assault the city. How would King Pars choose to engage? Bombardment? Direct invasion? Would they be ordered to level the city if its inhabitants refused to surrender? To his surprise, he hears an audacious yawn coming from nearby - turning, Lottus sees the half-blood, Beefa. His brow furrows, and he turns his attention back to the city.
Her self depreciation no longer surprised Lottus, nor did he feel any impulse to correct her statement, though he did feel like telling her to take the situation seriously. But before he can speak, a familiar voice calls out to them, prompting Lottus to look for the source. Lottus' eye snap wide in surprise - King Pars! Wordlessly, even as the King gives Beefa his own accord to her purpose, Lottus drops his gaze to the ground, and bows his head before the King. In just a sentence, Lottus learned of Beefa's reason for being at the military base, but he never would have guessed that the over-emotional girl had already once stood with King Pars in battle; and against the northern King, Retasu, of all people.
When Pars speaks to Lottus, the Saiyan drops down to one knee, grinding his left fist into the dirt.
"My King, I am named Lottus." he tells the King in an even tone. Whether Pars knew it already or not, Lottus saw no reason to keep silent about his past affiliation, and speaks candidly. "Before you claimed lordship, I fought against your mercenary forces. You saw fit not to eradicate the surrendered forces, and permitted those like myself to be integrated into your new standing military, sire."

3D40, 3120 EXP, 720/720 HP, 6/6 GP "Ah..." Beefa stated with a tinge of excitement in her voice. The king of the south was here and he was wearing a rather dapper uniform today. Beefa wanted to kneel before him and greet him but mere moments after getting praised he asked Lottus "Who are you?" and soon found the older Saiyan bowing to the king. She was not about to bow to him right now on a battlefield if someone like this oaf was doing so at this time. Instead she wrapped her arms around her stomach and smiled with a light blush on her face before rocking back and forth on here feet to think. "My liege..." she uttered a minute later, "I helped you get that fake king to his knees. I'd like a reward from you please for my prior actions and I have a better plan then what our friend Lottus offers. We need to kill at least half the forces here even if they surrender. We're a big empire and we need to be selective on whom we bring in. We can't keep every Saiyan who wants to join under our wing. There's not enough space in the army. We need them to be a bit unique starting now, so I say only if they surrender and are above certain power thresholds we keep them alive or as prisoners." She explained her plan and with that gleeful smirk on her face then looked down on Lottus bowing at their feet. She'd cross her arms over here chest and then announced as she looked back into her king's eyes, "If you agree to my plan I'll fly over there, grow a few hundred feet like an Oozaru, and with much better control than them flatten some of the city quicker then we are now. We can execute my plan right away."

Pars let a small smirk appear on his face as he saw the soldier drop to his knee; though it was to be expected, Pars had yet to accustom himself to the royal life, including the way people had addressed him. Regardless though, he motioned for Lottus to rise up as he spoke, listening to him as he spoke. "... Ah... Well... I just didn't see the need to throw away good soldiers lives" Pars explained to Lottus, then turning to Beefa as she begun to speak.
After she had finished up, Pars spoke- "Yeah, you're right. I guess I just never got around to it huh.." he told her, speaking of her reward. He continued- "Ehhh... I'll think of something when we get back to the capital, maybe a promotion? I dunno" Pars mumbled, listening as Beefa continued, speaking of some plan to eradicate the garrison of the city and destroying it. He sighed-
"We should be selective, yes Beefa- But see, there are plenty of reasons not to kill any of them as well. Naturally, we can't just add whomever we capture into the army, and the only reason I did so with the southern army was that I needed a bigger army and I was pretty confident that the granting of amnesty would keep any coup's at bay, if even for a couple of months. Pars explained, continuing- Besides, I sort of need the northern troops to escape in large droves, spread panic through the north and whatnot. I also need the city relatively intact, seeing as we're gonna need it for future incursions.
Pars told the two, scratching his chin slowly. "In fact, that's sorta why I'm here. I sort of need you and a few others for a special mission Beefa. Pars said, turning his gaze over to Lottus- "In fact, you'll be joining as well, seeing as you're pretty strong" Pars ordered, scratching his chin a bit more.
"Basically, I'll be having you guys distract the garrison in the city for a while, by yourselves" Pars said, a bright smile present on his face.

At King Pars' beckoning, Lottus rises to his feet. The Saiyan looks at Beefa peripherally, feeling his brow furrow - the girl had quite a bit of gall to speak so casually and demanding towards the King. To Lottus' surprise, the King was quite accommodating to the half-blood's attitude, but showed an equally casual demeanor when replying to the girl. Lottus' fists tighten; his fingernails dig into his palms, threatening to pierce the skin. Additionally, the girl seemed to think that his telling the King an answer to the posed question held a veiled suggestion to how they should proceed with the battle.
Internally, Lottus feels his chest growing warm with anger, but on the surface he is stoic. Beefa offers her own battle plan, suggesting that she grow to the size of the Oozaru - this also surprises Lottus; did the girl, after having taken off like a brat, actually have taken what Lottus had tried to teach her about controlling her growth ability seriously after all? He turns his attention back to the King, who actually seemed... rather detached from the situation. It seemed more like the King was just going through a simple drill, with the way he was speaking.
More than once, Lottus had to fight back the urge to tell King Pars to speak plainly, and with conviction - all this nonsense of using words like kinda and sorta made Lottus think that the King wasn't used to the role of command - and yet he had conquered the southern regions! These are indecisive words! This spoke of the abhorrent weakness of the previous leaders before Pars' reign, and sent a bolt of shame through Lottus, in that King Pars was able to assert his lordship. With this internal pang of resentment, came a belated realization - King Pars was leading them to war against King Retasu and the Northern Kingdom... yet it took both Beefa and Pars to defeat Retasu!
Surely by now the Northern King had been hard at work increasing his power - and likely preparing for just such a brash move by Pars after the hard victory he and Beefa claimed. Did this not mean that the war against the Norther Kingdom was doomed to fail?
King Pars speaks directly to Lottus, snapping him out of his internal strife. The King smiles friendlily, sending a chill up Lottus' spine - what exactly had he been drawn into? But Lottus, ever the faithful soldier, places his right fist over his chest and bows his head in compliance.
"I will serve, my King, however I am fit to serve." Lottus replies, keeping his tone level.

"Oh..." Beefa uttered placing a hand under her chin, "You 'dunno' if you want to give me a promotion or not?" She grit her teeth in anger and took a step towards Pars stating, "I want want of those, now..." there was a pause in her voice as she clenched both fists together and held them at her hips ready to punch him at any moment, "...and I want a super rare item called... a dragon radar. I don't know what it does but rumor has it finds rare treasures so get me one with batteries included." She then curled the fingers on her left hand into an "Okay" sign and held it up for the young king to see. After doing this looked down at Lottus whom was kneeling before Pars and uttered, "I should get two rewards unlike you since I helped save the king when I was follo- I mean out for a walk! And, because I'm literally going to be helping him crush everything here for him." She slightly reached out to try and pat Lotus on the head with her right hand adding, "Be a good boy like you've said, and stick to 'serving however I am fit to serve.'" Without a second thought a manic giggle escaped her lips and she went to back to staring at Pars with love in her eyes. Her hands then wrapped around her stomach and she thought to herself, "Pars may look weak now but if I keep working for him this entire planet will be under my thumb. He's the greatest Saiyan alive after having crushed our archenemy so recently. I need to serve him now though and be strong." With these thoughts in mind Lottus' worst fears came back to haunt him. Beefa still had little control over power but today at least had a fixed up Makyo Star stone aroud her neck to keep it under wraps. Yet, in spite of this, she felt her body grow rapidly from her intense feelings to serve her king. It's power soon came on full display as her magical energies bulked up her thighs, her abs, her chest, and her arms with little regard to the fact she was in any danger. Lottus would have to dread for the moment the sudden return of the nine foot, slightly crazy monster known as Beefa Baste. Luckily for Lottus or Pars, if either wanted to stop her transformation they could just by simply grabbing the stone dangling from her thick neck. "Oops," she muttered to herself aloud upon feeling the change end, "I guess this is my dedication to our cause." She could clearly see and feel as she looked down at herself and upon her allies she had grown nearly two-thirds their size. It must have been because she was eager to cause panic to some Saiyans today she reckoned. She remained still and calm only asking in one last question, "King Retasu said I looked cute I think in my regular form when we last fought him I believe. Do you all think I look better now or as I do when I'm my normal self?" She wanted to know in order to decide which one she should gallivant around as in the big city before them. Being big or small had its pros and cons. Pars, Lottus

To Pars's Surprise, Beefa was pretty touchy about whether or not she'd get promoted. To him, it wasn't a big deal, he'd been a military commander for a while and stuff like promotions was just a natural occurrence for him, though he guessed it was a bit more personal for some folk than others. One thing, in particular, was the mention of the "Dragon Radar". "The hell is a dragon radar..." Pars mumbled under his breath, adjusting his posture as he continued to listen.
When she'd finished, Pars cleared his throat and simply replied with- "alright, it will be done..." despite not necessarily intending to get it done anytime soon.
Soon after, presumably in preparation for the upcoming mission, Beefa then transformed. "Just stick with your other form... I won't be needing any of you to rampage across the city. I just need you to provide support for me" Pars told the two whilst crossing his arms. He stood quietly for a bit, before continuing- "Now if you have any thoughts, questions, or complaints, This is your only chance to tell me them. I don't expect any of you to come up to me in the midst of battle, or whilst im briefing my generals..."
sorry for the short post

Lottus remains silent as Beefa begins demanding what she thinks she deserves like a spoiled brat. To his surprise, the girl tries to pat his head, as if he were a dog! Normally, he would have slapped the hand away - but with her relationship to the King not entirely known to Lottus, the Saiyan moves his head out of her hand's path, shooting a glare at the girl that screamed of contempt.
"I serve the King, you will never have the right to command me." Lottus replies to Beefa, narrowing his eyes angrily. "Don't you ever mistake me for one who would obey the likes of you, brat."
The girl then shows how little she had actually come to controlling her morphing ability; almost immediately warping into the muscular form. He crosses his arms over his chest, and writes the girl off in his mind - there was no way she would be worth the trouble of associating with. But what further appalls Lottus, is how King Pars appeared to be more perplexed by Beefa's overly self-entitled demands, rather than angered by them. When King Pars tells them his intended use, Lottus' eyes narrow.
Now the King was contradicting his own orders! Gathering the army to surround the city, telling Beefa and Lottus that they would be serving as a distraction. But he needed enough Saiyans to flee the city to cause some kind of panic in the other regions. Now, suddenly, he was telling them that they'd be running support for him? Beefa asks something, but Lottus tunes her out, having had enough of her nonsense already. When the King offers to let them voice their possible disagreements, Lottus chooses to remain silent.
Whether the King had any idea what he was doing or not is ultimately irrelevant.
"A soldier's duty is not to question their orders, my King, only ensure that the orders are carried out." Lottus replies, biting back his scathing opinions of the King's supposed plans for the battle. "However, you hoping for Saiyans to run away in a panic is not going to happen. We are a warrior race, the Northern Kingdom soldiers are every bit as much warriors as we are - they will not run from a fight, especially one that is so challenging as trying to push back our invasion. No self respecting Saiyan would ever turn down a battle such as this."

Beefa rolled her eyes at Lottus for his remarks and aversion to her. She was just trying to be nice to him and lighten the load in terms of killing Saiyans or not. If this was how he reacted to her though and King Pars after his idea to assign them to distracting the enemy she turned to face her king and without bowing simply flexed her biceps and stated, "You'll only need me to distract to them. Having us both do it is a waste of time and I'm sure Lottus here wants to fight them. So... Give me a moment and I'll make one for him and return to my normal state here once the job's done." To this end, Beefa gazed around the cliffs near them and spotted a boulder two to four times her own size and at least two tons or more easily. She'd walk over to it and with her giant frame bend at the knees and slowly begin to lift it via the mix of magical and ki energies of her demon and Saiyan blood. It was quite a feat as she held it aloft suddenly over her head with a loud, "ARGH!" "Here we go!" she cried. Then she spun on her heels and with a bit of luck and some decent accuracy flung the boulder towards the city. Inside its walls Saiyans on both sides were fighting but when they saw a shadow fly across the sky nearly four to six times their own size some went out of their way to avoid it. One unfortunate soul who almost did not was a ordinary Saiyan woman with black hair and eyes. She was in the midst of the fighting waving her hands and trying to direct eager Saiyan children, hell bent on killing themselves in the fighting, away from it all. A loud thud followed by a deafening boom though reached her ears. And for not, we can say as rocky shrapnel flew everywhere (and because this isn't her story) she and some of the children managed to flee behind a thick building wall with their bukujutsu. The fortunate ones that did not found themselves impaled or knocked away by a rock that had seemingly come out of nowhere. Loud cries of, "What the hell was that?" erupted from the Saiyans because no ordinary Saiyan, save one transformed into an Oozaru, could have done. On top of that, they would have seen one or felt the effects of the moon on themselves as they transformed. Anyway, from a distance, Beefa watched her work and giggled at her efforts before feeling weak in the knees. She fell to the ground as her muscles shrank and with her energy spent chucking this boulder like a nuclear missile she felt unable to fight anymore. Her limbs were unmovable and she could not pull herself up off the ground. The one thing of note though that she got from this was that she had filled out her mission orders to distract but had also possibly gone beyond them a wee bit by probably killing a few extra Saiyans with her stunt. It pleased her in the back of her mind as she looked out towards a plume of smoke rising up from that big rock in the distant and uttered, "Take a damn fine look at that. I'm a good girl who probably has just completed her mission as expected. I think I want to change my reward though for my hard work. Capture me a nice Saiyan traitor or two. I think I'm deserving of some rewards beyond a promotion and something better then treasure hunting gear." Pars, Lottus

Pars had halfheartedly listened to Lottus's complaints, fiddling with a little communications device in his ear so he could contact his generals in a bit. After Lottus had finished, Pars turned his head and still fiddling with his earpiece responded. "Well, those are pretty good concerns" Pars started- "But personally, I don't agree with you. The Saiyans of today aren't the same as the ones from hundreds of years ago".
Pars, his earpiece now in place, quickly relayed his plan to the generals, before turning it off. -". . . You see Lottus, I've found that, in the face of overwhelming power, people tend to prioritize survival and not honor. At least that's the case for most of the people I've fought. Those who don't do that, die.
Pars then paced over in the direction of the city, his power flaring up. -"And regardless, even if they don't run away, we'll just capture some and then release them after a bit of torture. It'll cause virtually the same effect. Pars turned slightly to face Lottus, a plethora of Saiyans beginning to rise into the air behind him, floating in the direction of the city to begin their assault. "Now, if you've got no more questions, go and join Beefa. I'll be right behind you"
Pars ordered, watching as beefa flew off and started causing havoc, his own power still building up slowly.
Sorry for the delay, haven't been feeling much muse for recently

The King didn't seem to be paying attention to Lottus, at least not very much. His reply to Lottus makes the Saiyan's eyes narrow slightly - King Pars showed little to no regard for the questioning of his plans. There were a few things Lottus could have said back, but he instead relents, and bows his head placatingly to the King. At this point, Beefa rushes off to cause as much chaos as she can manage, hurling a boulder into the city. The impact the boulder causes can be heard well beyond the city limits, along with the screams of surprise.
As the rest of the army began to move, King Pars commands Lottus to engage the enemy as well. Lottus wordlessly turns away from the King, and leaps off the ground, taking flight towards the city walls and past Beefa. He notices the girl shrink down as he passes, but pays her otherwise no further attention. Instead, Lottus focuses on the reaction of the city's defenders. At first, they floundered, but it doesn't take long for them to take notice of the army gathered on their doorstep.
Swarming like furious hornets, what defenders the city does possess rise to meet the invading Southern Army. Even as Lottus clashed with his first enemy of the Northern Kingdom, Lottus is distracted - The King seemed to believe that his personal experiences in battle was irrefutable proof that everyone around him were cowards. Gutless, honorless cowards. And yet, the King had to use mercenaries to stage his coup against the fractured leadership of the southern regions. Had it been because so few were willing, or even cared, to stand with Pars?
Lottus ducks under an elbow aimed for his jaw, grabbing the enemy Saiyan by the arm and hurling the warrior through the side of a building, sending shattered mortar and glass to the streets below. Almost immediately, the same warrior bursts out of the rubble to engage Lottus again, this time as many more soldiers from both sides begin a mass melee. The warrior slips through Lottus' distracted defense, laying a hard left hook to Lottus' jaw and effectively shaking him from his internal dispute. Fully focused on the battle at hand, Lottus engages the warrior with a series of fluid movements - confusing the opponent that clearly favored a straight up brawl. Lottus knocks the warrior out with a fast two-hit technique - striking the Saiyan first in the sternum and followed by a near instant back-handed punch directly to the bridge of the warrior's nose, crushing cartilage with a light spray of blood.
Lottus silently decides to remain silent for the remainder of the battle - intent on watching how things would proceed. He himself is not a General; in reality he wasn't even sure if he even held a particular rank. Going forward, he knew questioning the King would not yield any satisfactory answers. Rapini would probably laugh at his behavior.
Spinning around, Lottus races off to join a group melee that had grown nearby...

While Lottus partook in the melee that Beefa helped cause and Pars landed on the battlefield at the far end of the city Beefa was just finding her legs. She stood up only to walk a few feet in her tired state and come across a bad omen in the shape of two big, beefy Saiyans and a pure blood Saiyan woman with black hair and relatively the same sort of build as her. "What do we have here? A straggler from the opposing army?" The lady questioned. "So young! Grab her and teach her what we do to these half breeds that invade us in this ludicrous manner!" Her hand flung out in front of her and before she knew it the two other Saiyans had jumped behind her and grabbed her arms. The next thing she knew a kick from the woman landed straight in her sternum causing her to puke. This was followed by a punch in her stomach. Four more followed and with each one Beefa grit her teeth more and more. "Is this the best you can do?" She asked, "I've lived out in the wastelands and barely in a city like this yet why shouldn't I go destroy it? It seems like a waste of space for fighters like us and the pompous lifestyle it offers." The next thing she knew a set of nails raked her face but as they departed from her skin Beefa's fangs bit down on part of the woman's hand and crushed it. She pulled her hand back to see the inside of her palm was bleeding. Even so she took to using this same fist to punch Beefa again and again in the stomach. Beefa withstood it though for she had to because if she didn't she'd die here. The two guards tightened her grip on her arms though so she found that if she wanted to fight back she wouldn't be able to unless she wished to hurt her arms from the shoulder down. "I guess I'll just have to use my legs until my other power comes back." With that Beefa kicked out her leg and when another punch rammed into her gut she slammed her foot in-between the Saiyan woman's legs. It wouldn't hurt as much as it would of if she was a man probably but it was strong enough to bring her to her knees. Beefa then took what power (ki or otherwise) she could and in an attempt to escape empowered her legs to flip up into the air and strike both male Saiyans across the side of the head with a split kick. When she finished with them she fell over with them onto her back and pried her arms loose. She looked around and found the battle was still going on so she got back onto her feet once more and flew straight into the same melee Lottus had already joined. She needed to show him she had grown some. She could not stay a brat forever. She had no clue where Pars was yet still so she figured he might also be the easiest to join up with in spite of her minor injuries. Pars, Lottus
