Not long after King Tsuno's annoucement of Earth II's very first martial arts tournament, Earth II was put on the intergalactic stage. Announcement flyers were distributed to distant plantes in their quadrant of their galaxy, where the N-PTO resided, as well as the land of the mazoku namekian and the offshoot saiyan races. Funny how fate would always find a way to disturb those who did not wish to be disturbed. What was once an isolated colony for Earthlings who wanted to be rid of the dangers Earth possessed; the space pirates, invaders, androids, rogue warlords and anything else remotely violent, would soon be rocked by the same problems the original Earth had, and it would soon be thrust into the dangers of the intergalactic communities. Maybe it was foolish for a group of greedy small-time looters to go to a planet which was about to host a martial arts tournament for powerful men and women who could pound them into dust, but the appeal of a beautiful untouched albeit artificially-created planet that wasn't there before, was tempting for even the greediest treasure hunters. And so it was that the first of those with hostile intent heard about Earth-II, a relatively new, untouched planet with a small population and plentiful natural resources. A notorious pirate captain named Zenki immediately gathered his small group of ragtag plunderers and sent his marauding ships to investigate and wreak havoc on the fledgling civilization. Expecting weak resistance from the colonists, the pirates hoped to pick clean the planet's riches and leave without much trouble. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Trouza was in the vicinity where the vanguard of the space pirates landed. He was flying across the land returning to the White Monastery in the east when he saw flames coming from a nearby village on the way. Steering toward the settlement, Trouza would see several armored aliens with arm guns rounding up the populace whose main source of defense would have been pitchforks and guns. The group would perhaps number to less than a hundred, though it remained to be seen whether it was just a forward force and not the main one. A child was trying to escape the space bandits, only to be seen by a particularly stocky boar-headed brute who immediately ran for the kid. Catching up to the boy and grabbing him by the shirt collar, the boar-man grinned and pointed his arm gun at the kid. "Hey kid, y'wanna tell me where you keep all your dough? Promise I won't bi-"*CRASH* The Crane student wearing his new gi flew sideways at the boar's gut with a flying kick, sending the big brute flying like a rag doll across the field and marking a long trail of dust across the field behind one of the village houses. Several of the henchmen would turn and look where the explosive attack came from, and from behind the cloud of dust Trouza would be standing with the kid running toward cover. "Pick on someone your own size, assholes." Like one of those caped superheroes on the television, Trouza pointed to the pirates in defiance. They would soon be greeted by the gates of HFIL soon enough.

That intergalactic exposure given to Earth-2 not only brought pirates out of the wood work, but another being from the deepest reaches of the galaxy had also caught himself a flyer. Upon hearing of a World Martial Arts Tournament on this world, Zeroth couldn't stop himself from wanting to compete. He had to somehow be involved, if it meant traversing the dangerous new world which he'd never set foot on. In contrast to others of his kind, the warrior Absol Zeroth was not a cowardly Arcosian. He didn't hire subordinates to do jobs for him, because he himself could do just as well. If you wanted something done right? You did it yourself. Zeroth was known as the Ice Dragon of Gokkano, an elite. His power was only trumped by Lord Glacier, which he fully intended to fix. Through hard work and training, he would surpass Glacier and take his throne. About the time Trouza's blast had taken out one of the pirates now there to loot Earth-2, we would find Zeroth hovering above a still pond, with his legs crossed under him. His deep red eyes were closed as he hovered there in midair, keeping his massive power suppressed. He didn't want to attract any unwanted attention. He needed to be in top form for the tournament. The water beneath Zeroth would ripple slightly as a battle would rage on in the distance. His red eyes would snap open, auditory nerves catching the sound of yelling to the north. Slowly he'd move himself toward the wet grass around the pond and plant his feet on it, three toes on each foot crushing down the high grass. So much for a peaceful meditation. He thought to himself as his eyes flashed with the light of what appeared to be ki blasts or laser beams in the distance. With a sigh, the Arcosian would lift off the ground and fly off into the direction of the raging battle. Perhaps I have time for a bit of fun. Upon reaching his destination, his eyes would first fall upon a brave human. He narrowed this red orbs into slits, tail slowly swaying behind him as he watched this human. This earthling was holding his own against these strange aliens who'd come to Earth, but Zeroth couldn't help but wonder. How long could Trouza hold up against them? By himself? His sense of honor wouldn't allow him to just let Trouza die.
And he would be involved soon enough. He felt the precense of a weaker ki behind him, but there was something else. He could smell fuel burning, and turning around with clasped arms behind his back, the dimnutive Arcosian would spy a purple alien. This alien had the body of a man with scaley skin, and the face of a catfish. He hovered there with a jet pack, laser cannon trained on Zeroth.
He spoke, his voice cool and level. "Well? Are you going to use that, or stand there like a scared little puppy? I've not all day...make this quick." He sneered. "Nevermind. I will. You fish people are so slow." With a grunt, he raised his left hand at the fish alien and fired off a crimson blast of ki, sending the pirate careening into the side of a building. The rubble from said building would fly through the air, rocks almost hitting poor Trouza.
The destructive Arcosian chuckled and turned, jetting down to stand next to Trouza. He'd cut his eyes toward the Crane student and speak. "Do you require assistance, Earthling? Either way, I always adore a good fight! Hahaha!"With that, the Arcosian Elite's precense was made known to Trouza and anyone else who would join this mass battle. Would they be able to save the Earth? Was Zeroth...a Z Fighter?!

Wayne sat huddled in the faint darkness of the train car. He had retreated away from the slight crack of the large sliding door of the car which let a thin sliver of golden light inside. His hands were partially cupped together, close to his mouth. One hand flicked the wheel of a lighter in vain. Sparks kicked up from the strike, but there was too much wind. Wayne made a face, showing his frustration, as the cigarette between his lips remained unlit. He had been on this train for hours, making one last trip home before he began a new journey south to the fabled turtle hermit. Another few flicks, and Wayne realized he was going to have to completely close the train car’s door if he was going to get the damn thing lit. Rising to his feet, he took a few careful steps towards the door as the train rumbled on. His hands gripped the metal crossbar but just as he was about to slam the door shut, something on the other side caught his eye. A large ship had settled down in the small town not too terribly far from the moving train. It was called Mosby, if Wayne recalled correctly. He had never been there, had no real reason to go there. The town was a backwater hole. It made Stows look like one of the Western Metropolises. The train wound along the tracks to the right. There was a decent bit of activity on the ground but he was too far from it to tell what was happening. Wayne’s cigarette slipped from his lips as he leaned a bit too close to the door of the railroad car. Shit.
He watched for some time, unable to discern any specific happenings. A moment later and a very visible fire sprang up in the center of the town. Something’s going on. Wayne’s arms gripped the metal crossbar tighter, but instead of closing the door, he ripped it back. A rush of fresh air poured into the dismal smelling feed car. Wayne reached out, clutching onto the roof of the train. In one effortless motion, he pulled himself on top of it. The wind battered his blonde strands of hair, his ponytail whipping wildly. The train continued towards Mosby. From his new vantage point, Wayne could tell something was very amiss. Several minutes passed, soon the train would be whipping by the small station just outside of Mosby. There was no scheduled stop here, Wayne knew that. This wasn’t a passenger train he was on. What was odd, was that the train began to slow as it reached the station. Wayne leapt forwards from car to car, until he was only a few from the lead engine car. Staring out ahead on the track, he could see the barriers had been lowered and a large group of surly looking fellows with strange weapons and armor stood menacingly just outside of the station. The train came to a halt, and Wayne came face to face with the group of obvious thugs standing several feet below him. “ Look at that one up on the roof! Ha. Get down here and we might not skin you alive. We just want whats in the train, and any valuables that you’ve got.” A muscular alien with a long, scaled snout yelled at him. The alien smirked, revealing rows of sharp white teeth. It raised its arm, equipped with a laser gauntlet aimed in Wayne’s direction. “ You deaf? Come down here-…” Wayne leapt from the top of the train and his large right hand coiled into a fist and slammed into the alien’s mouth. He could feel the teeth shatter against the force of his blow. Before the alligator-esque creature could even fall to the ground, Wayne’s opposite hand snagged the collar of his armor and tossed him towards the rest of the group of aliens gathered before the train. The roar of blaster fire droned out the dying engine of the train as the others began to open fire on Wayne. He leapt, tumbling behind the station. Guess that pissed them off.

Clink!''Yanno, this could'a been made a lot easier if'n ya hadn't tried 'ta run.'' ''You're a freak! Just take the money and go!'' ''Ehhhh...nah. Since y'decided t' put me through all this trouble, i'mma remind you not 'ta make that same mistake nex' time.'' He'd been chasing this guy for what felt like ages. He'd assaulted the youngest son of a particularly loaded family from East City, and Luo had been hired to dish some pain back in kind. He'd even been paid in advance, thanks to his small but growing reputation. Walking toward the frightening human man, he'd lift him up off the ground by his collar and shove him into a backward stumble before slowly advancing. Just as he reared back for a good punch, a small track of light shocks assaulted his senses. He could sense something was going on. Looking in the direction of the signal he'd picked up with his growing sixth sense of energy, he could feel the strangest thing. A huge patch of small ones being scattered about and disappearing here, there, and everywhere. A couple of big ones likely to be responsible for the fact. He could almost make out something familiar, too. Was that Wayne? Having his punch stopped in its tracks by the sudden jolt to his senses, the crook seized the opportunity to throw one of his own which rolled off of Luo's cheek. Smirking ear to ear, he would continue walking forward while he watched the man's knees start to buckle. Offering him a swift headbutt and a broken nose in response, he'd shake his head. ''Only good for one, huh? Have a nice nap down there. Man, Wayne would jus' love you.'' I gotta go check that out. What the hell's goin' on? Is that smoke I see?'' Lifting off into the air using his ki to float, he'd slowly gain altitude to peer over a large hill. Yep, somewhere was burning alright. These readings didn't make a lick of sense; he decided he'd have to just go and see things for himself. His white aura alighted and left a comet's trail behind him as he blasted across the sky, getting closer and closer and finally becoming able to get a better look after a couple of moments. This village was burning, and a couple of individuals, Wayne included as he'd suspected, were down there fighting off a ragtag platoon of bruisers all decked out in fancy-looking gear. Maybe if he beat enough of them up, he could fetch a decent salvage price for some of it. His thoughts were broken as he finally got eyes on the roughneck Wayne, witnessing a bunch of the thugs letting loose a volley of arm-cannon fire where he was holed up. Taking in his surroundings, he began to think and actually feel something outside of his work for once. Maybe, just this once, it was time to fight for something more than money.
''WATAHHHH!''Soaring down from his airborne position, Luo's leg would drill into the back of one of the firing thugs that may have had Wayne pinned down. Springing off of his back on that same leg as the pirate slammed into the dirt, he'd twist and roll forward to bring his signature ax kick thundering down onto the skull of a second standing nearby to tuck them into a dirt nap as well. In a panic, a couple of the pirates though not all would turn about and open fire on the half-breed. His body's figure flickered and blurred as he raced across the landscape, darting from cover to cover. On his exit trip, he'd make one last action of distraction as he yanked his rope-bound sword into his hand from his waist, flickering out of high-speed movement long enough to uncoil from a twisting turn and uppercut one more offender right to the chin with the blunted weapon to pop them into the air and send them crashing into a rock upon landing. He'd flicker away once again as a volley of cannon fire torched into that same rock he was now using as cover. ''Get yer dander up, Wayne! Time 'ta clean house!''

As the newcomers flash by before Trouza's eyes, he couldn't believe his eyes. More of his 'kind' showed up to face the menace that was threatening Earth; his kind that trained to become powerful warriors on the battlefield and never backed down from fights. Whether or not they were of pure intention to help the villagers remain to be seen however, but the thought of these powerful warriors showing up that was just like him excited him and ready to fight those who would pick on weaker innocents. First came the arcosian, one of the frost demons unheard of by the earthlings for some time now. He was pretty sure he was alien and a sinister-but-beautiful looking specimen at that, but nevertheless he was on his side, taking out one of the cutthroats with ease. "No assistance necessary, although your timing is impeccable." Trouza blurted to Zeroth as another pirate charged at him and received the brutal kick to the stomach. "Help me get rid of these bastards and we'll talk."Then from an incoming train came two hardy fighters who appeared to look like two acquainted country folk; both displaying hidden power in their own right, but would be unstoppable should they work together as a team. They were farther away, but with the troublemakers laying waste all across the area he would stumble upon them sooner or later. They should easily recognize the Crane School uniform and symbol on his gi as Trouza fought on, not knowing the two were actually the newest recruits of the Turtle school. At this point, more of the pirates showed up and charged at the martial artists hoping to overwhelm them with strength of numbers. Earth-II was definitely not some place to mess with.

The way Trouza looked at him didn't bother Zeroth. He simply assumed that the human hadn't seen many of his kind, but that set him to thinking. He hadn't seen man of his kind either and while that didn't trouble him he was somewhat curious. Had they all remained on Gokkano along with Glacier? His eyes narrowed into slits at the very thought of the new ruler of his home world. Most would have been happy for the new Lord but Zeroth was different.
He felt that as an Arcosian Elite, he should have been the ruler of the Planet Gokkano. Call it selfish ambition, but as he thought deeper about that he could only surmise that his excursion to new worlds had slowed his progress in the hierarchy. This made him think of Retasu, the Ruler of the Saiya-jin Northern Empire. The man was a honorable, strong warrior who had defeated the Ice Dragon of Gokkano but just barely.
He grinned, his blue lips cruled upward ina naturally sinister manner. These pirates? They were nothing compared to him and this human? He seemed rather adept in his skills, which Zeroth would take close notes on as the two fought off the invasion. He cut those red eyes toward Trouza and chuckled softly. "You take the ugly ones, I'll take the big ones."
To Zeroth, the pirates would mostly be taller than him, as he chose to stay in his suppressed form. He'd done so to avoid detection by Glacier's forces, because secretly Zeroth had something planned in his mind. You see, fighting the ruler of Daikondu had lit a new fire of ambition in the young Arcosian. He wanted to claim the throne!
As the pirates surrounded Zeroth after he separated with Trouza, the Arcosian would duck and dodge kicks and punch with the grace of a swan. Furthermore, he would strike with counters, hopping up to stand on the outstretched leg of a pirate. "Too slow! Hahahaha!" Following up by spinning his body, his long tail slapping the taste out of the mouth of the ugly, green pirate.
He hopped over a sweep with a swiftness only seen by those used to higher gravity of Earth, driving his fists into the collarbones of the pirate, flipping backwards with his feet catching the next at the crown of the forehead. The pirate's head would slam into the ground and Zeroth would hover into the air, arms clasped behind his back as he snickered. "You fools have OBVIOUSLY never faced an Arcosian in battle! This should be easy."
So what Trouza and everyone else would observe would be a quick warrior, and what seemed to be an expert martial artist. His movements had the fluidity of a river flowing and swaying, his aim dead on with finger beams to the feet of his enemies...playing with them.

He had pressed his back up against the exterior stone wall of the train station as blaster shots exploded several feet around him. Piss poor shots aren’t they? Wayne was hardly paying attention. Instead, he had produced another cigarette from his shirt pocket and was in the same predicament he had been in on the train. He couldn’t get the damn thing lighted! His hands fumbled for the butane lighter he just dropped on the wooden porch of the train station. Clutching it firmly, he brought his hands together and was just about to flick the wheel to ignite when he heard a familiar voice. It was Luo. Wayne snapped his head around to see that his mutual acquaintance, who he had just met not too ago in West City, had arrived on the scene. He turned quickly enough to see the tail end of Luo’s flashy assault on the armored, alien thugs that had recently been bombarding his location. Always flashy with them kicks and a sword, now I’ve seent it all.
A pink ray burned through the air and vaporized the bottom half of Wayne’s cigarette from his mouth. He adjusted his head behind the corner of the station wall again, his eyes peering down the end of the cigarette. Alas, he had been undone again! His brow furrowed, and a look of frustration washed over his face. A man couldn’t even have a proper smoke today. “ Alright ya sorry gaggle. Now you’ve gone and upset me. I’m giving you this one time to surrender before I get right ornery.” His arm extended behind cover, his index finger extended. There was the briefest moment of silence before the pack of space thugs turned their weapons on Wayne’s location again. This time it seemed they wanted to bring the whole station down on his head. Explosions rocked the corner of the building and it collapsed into a heap of rubble, presumably with Wayne in it. Assuming their enemy bested, the group began to pivot back to Luo when the still smoking rubble began to move. Up from the debris sprang Wayne, entirely unharmed though coated in a thick of lay of gray dust from the collapsed train station. The half-burnt cigarette hung loosely from the corner of his mouth. One of the alien thugs gasped audibly, not understanding how a puny human could emerge unscathed from the collapse of a second story building right on top of them. Wayne spit the ruined cigarette from his mouth and clenched his hands into fists. His power level flared abruptly and he leapt forth from his position, only a dozen yards away, towards the group of thugs. They had gone and done it now. They had made the man, right ornery. A volley of scattered ki blasts lanced out from the gauntlets of the alien thugs. The first blast literally skidded off Wayne’s broad chest like a rock on a frozen pond. The creature who had fired it could only managed half a step back in disbelief before Wayne’s fist rocketed into his gut with a powerful uppercut. It lifted the alien up off its feet into the air. Gravity took over, though before the scrambling purple creature could hit the ground, Wayne snagged him out of mid-air, one hand clutched onto the belt and the other onto the strange collar armor. With a mighty grunt, Wayne chucked the alien into two others, and they flew backwards slamming into a line of unused train cars. Wayne proceeded to cut through the group of them like a hot knife through butter. Whenever his fists collided with another thug, the ground trembled. The group of thugs scattered behind cover, sheer terror gripped them. This broad-shouldered, blonde-haired man was clearly having a dreadful day. It did not deter them, however, from firing blindly every step of the way. Wayne had wrapped his left hand firmly around the collar of one of the tougher brutes. A large, blue-skinned creature with muscles that rivaled Wayne’s. Unable to retreat, the first haymaker that Wayne threw smashed the scouter that was affixed to the side of the creature’s head. The second knocked teeth loose, and they sprayed outwards from the blue brute’s mouth. By the time Wayne had worked up to fourth and fifth, the creature was out cold. Wayne tossed the unconscious body to the ground like a bag of refuse. “ Dander’s up.” He’d expect Luo to join in the fray to mop the rest of this small segment up.

Luo's little stunt seemed to have mostly done what he wanted it to. He'd picked off a few of the scrappers in his sudden ambush, and now he might have given Wayne a chance to turn the situation in his favor. Even though he wasn't in a great position himself anymore, he still found himself more worried about the country brawler. The guy was tough as nails and built like an ox, but just from their bout he knew the guy wasn't invincible. He felt a little bit of relief even. That was, at least up until the volley of energy fire raining against and bombarding his own cover suddenly got a lot lighter. What did Wayne just do? Hugging his body closer to the large rock he would peek out ever so slightly to see the station the country bumpkin was holed up in was damn near collapsing before his eyes. A shout of concern leaped into his throat, but he quieted himself. Nah. No way. Wayne was tougher than that, he was sure of it! After the loud collapse, the invaders were poised to begin firing on Luo again up until the rubble began to move. Luo smirked. They'd gone and pissed him off good now! Wayne burst out of the rubble and closed the distance fast, just as the squadron resumed firing in a scattered panic. Wayne made short work of the closest thing he could punch. He whirled the alien's punished body about like a wet towel before lashing him against his friends then resuming his onslaught. Luo rolled around the side of the cover-rock before bolting forward with his impressive speed and arrived on the scene as Wayne was teeing off on one of their more tank-like brutes. The alien's comrades had gotten the great idea to close in and try and capitalize on the opportunity, and now Luo stood in the way to let Wayne have his outlet. Slowly whirling his arms into a Praying Mantis position, he'd sway his body low as the first two opponents closed in. Punching the left as he advanced a short distance, he'd use his right arm again to chain into an elbow to the jaw of the right. Swinging his left arm as he turned his body and ducked beneath an arm cannon being used as a bludgeon, his hooked arm would catch the left fighter behind the knee and take him from his feet. Stepping forward, he would end his advance in a barrage of close ranged punches dotting and bruising and bashing the second foe's rib cage before ending off with a particularly punishing punch to the kidney, crippling his opponent's stance before putting him down with a heavy hook punch. Right as the first was about to stand he'd whirl on one leg to carry the other right around into his face, putting him back to the ground on his back, then dart downward and smash his fist quickly right into his nose to put him out cold. As a third advanced while being covered by two others from range, Luo remained in his crouch and slid forward to strike him in the groin. After a quick dash and upward shoulder charge, he'd leaned the raider's body against his shoulder and used him as a shield. Continuing his charge, he'd pepper one of the pair with his own volley of quick blasts from his free hand before dumping off his now-unconscious shield on the other, stepping off of his back to plant both legs in a powerful stomp into the now prone one's back and bashing either side of his head with his Praying Mantis punches til he quit moving. Taking a few backward steps, he'd place his back close to Wayne's own, ready to cover the brawler's incredible power with his complimenting speed. The two did make a funny team; a self-taught powerhouse with a speedster well versed in martial arts techniques. ''Wonder how much more o' th' meat shields they're plannin' on throwin' at us?''He'd flash a satisfied but excited grin.

The heat of the battle was on as the raiders and what seemed to be only four Earth martial artists were entangled in an old fashioned brawl. To a keen observer from a distance, he would have seen laser beams shooting left and right and dust clouds forming from hand to hand combatants. Notably, the king's men weren't around to help repel the invasion, or was fashionably late. If people weren't directly in danger, the scuffle would have been considered a fun spar, Trouza thought. At the moment he was occupied by two 10 feet tall grunts as Zeroth was impressing him with his quick moves, switching his attention between his fleet-footed but weak opponents and the arcosian. Flurries of punches whizzed by Trouza as he parried or blocked each one as he gets pushed back by the two alien's momentum. The lock was broken when the two simultaneously threw a roundhouse kick at Trouza's front, pushing him a couple of feet away and sending dust flying. "Too distracted." Trouza thought as he stood there with his raised fists which received the brunt of the attack. Realizing the two was getting the upper hand on him and with dozens more pirates still around, he had to finish the two quickly. Using the ground as his stepping point, he dashed towards one of the tall grunts and delivered a powerful elbow to the gut, quickly paralyzing the alien as he shook in pain. Not giving him a chance to move, Trouza delivered a double axe handle at the back of his tilted head throwing his face first on the ground, knocking the warrior out for good. His partner wasn't idle however, and he quickly dashed towards Trouza with another roundhouse kick at Trouza's head hoping to wipe it clean off his shoulder. The pirate would be disappointed, as Trouza ducked in the nick of time and delivered a straight uppercut at the grizzled-looking alien sending him hurtling up a few feet into the sky. Trouza would jet straight up at the still dazed pirate and throw a backbreaking knee at him sending him further up. At this point, Trouza let gravity take its course as he dropped towards the ground and land gracefully with his opponent slightly out of sight still hurtling. "Sorry. I was too busy studying you. We'll talk later. Fight first." Trouza quipped in a blunt but friendly manner at the arcosian he was still wary about. He then dashed up to the sky to scan any more danger on the now slightly scarred battlefield of a village.
