Purika was out exercising in the hilly forests that lay somewhere outside of the prime village of the Southern Empire. As he was running around exercising his legs, his stomach would start to growl, a prime indication that he was hungry. Purika gritted his teeth, looking around for something he could make a quick meal out of. He walked around, gazing through the trees for an animal he could dine on. As he looked he spotted something brown in the distance. Maybe it was something he could eat? A smirk grew on Purika's face as he started to dash from his previous location at full speed towards the animal.
Once he was near, he didn't bother to stop. He kept running and tackled the mammal, causing it to squeal as it tried to defend itself. Purika gripped it with both of his hand before tossing it into a nearby cliff. It hit a tree on its way to it, ripping it in half. A thud could be heard as the tree fell, other animals scattered from the area in which the tree fell. That was a wise decision. As the mammal hit the cliff, Purika was sure every bone in its body was broken. He was correct. He dashed over to the animal as it slid off the rock leaving a stain of blood behind and hitting the ground, dead. Purika grinned as his tail swirled around.
He would pick up the dead mammal and would carry it back into the forest in a low-lying place which held his home. If he wanted to make a trip to the main village he could. He used some logs that he piled up around his house
