His recon mission confirmed everything that he needed to know. The King in the North, Retasu, was not only decisively winning this war but was also a powerful bastard to boot. It wasn't very often the Durian came across an individual with a battle power greater than his own, but it did serve as a nice incentive to train and hone himself to face him in battle. He would no doubt be the biggest obstacle to conquer. If he could take Retasu out of the picture, this planet would be ripe for the taking. That wasn't going to be any small task, though. The man was a paragon to the North, so it wouldn't be a matter of just taking him out. He could have lieutenants or maybe even mercenaries hiding out back at home, even though he didn't see many figures at that battle that he actually deemed a threat. The figure that had been bugging Retasu for something could have been accepted in as a mercenary, and it was hard to tell. There were a lot of factors in play, leaving Kiwano to want a bit of insurance. A practiced tactician, he knew what he needed were strings to pull. It was to this end that he went rumor hunting once again, and eventually caught wind of some battle machine that made a sport out of wiping out most Saiyans it came across. No one was entirely sure what its name was, as few, if any, of the monkeys it encountered escaped to give anyone any information on it. A few scavengers had passed along rumors for a bit of survival cash along with their haul, tipping off an abandoned lab which appeared to be some kind of run-down and vacant research center. Without wasting any time, Kiwano had finished his mug of drink and left a fair tip, along with some extra in thanks for the information. He'd left the small settlement and went off in search of this place. On the trip over, he couldn't help but think how valuable it would be to try and sway this thing to his side. If it hated Saiyans as much as it sounded like it did, it may turn out to be a pretty valuable asset to help him shake things up around here. The only problem was going to be in convincing it not to put any blaster fire in the backs of Southern soldiers; there would be a time and a place for that, and it wouldn't be any time soon. Setting down in front of a suspicious looking rock face, he discovered a torn-out electronics panel. It scanned him as he passed by, the identification feature likely having burnt out and bugged. The door slid open, and he peered into the dark lab. ''Oy! Android! Did I come knockin' on the right door, or are you out and about getting your daily dose of Saiyan?''

The android was in the small out clove where he was built. The small drone swarmed around him as they were repairing the damage he had taken in his last fight. He was able to get enough parts to fix himself but he was still recovering. His Gem had been damaged and his arm had been ripped off. The Android was enraged he had been badly damaged but he knew it was the process of becoming even more powerful. The Android concluded the saiyans had grown a great deal stronger than last expected. He, of course, knew they would be powerful but he assumed he would be able to defeat there weakest and some of there stronger. Then he'd grow off his victory to eventually defeat the king. Perhaps, that was an illusion. For all, he knew their king could have been the great and legendary Super Saiyan. The Machine turned his head as he saw light fill the halls. The Android raised his arm as ki rushed to his side pointing at the door as he heard a voice. The Androids eyes lit up as the man asked if he was about killing saiyans. The android's eyes were slit. For all, he knew this could have been a Saiyan looking for revenge.
Papayata got to his feet as drones flew around his broken head case. He was in no position for a long drawn out fight. He had been damaged badly and if he was damaged anymore he could lose crucial data. The androids scanned around feeling if there was anyone else. It seemed to just be one man. If the man entered the lab, he could destroy the data and then he could not even be rebuilt. He had to be cautious about this. The Android stepped out of the shadows looking at the man outside. He was not a Saiyan. He knew that much but what he has he had no idea. It had yellow skin and spikes stabbing out of its body. He had never seen such a creature. The Android scanned down seeing the man had battle armor like some of the Saiyan warriors. He narrowed his eyes, this man could have been working with the saiyans. "Speak and tell me what you want." The android said as sparks flew off his damaged arm and his head as he spoke only his right eye glowing with the left still shut off. It was clear he was damaged.

The Durian took his first few curious steps inside, and it was clear that this place had seen much better days. If the rumors were true and the 'droid did in fact call this place home, he would've thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to tour the place when it was functional. Backwater worlds like this always had the most clever ways of rigging their technology together, something that the geeks on Gokkano never had to worry about with their generous incoming research donations and prototype parts. At first he didn't receive an answer from the darkness, so he'd gotten down to business inspecting a few things as he made his way through but made sure not to touch anything too much. Before long, he spotted a light in the distance at about his height, and looking toward it revealed the Android's location pretty quick. The light of its energy attack it was preparing was shining a reflection off of its metal frame, and Kiwano could faintly make out some smaller robots buzzing around the thing like flies making hasty repairs. The Durian would raise his hands in a surrendering gesture. ''Whoa there now, big fella.'' He began. ''I ain't here lookin' for a fight. On the contrary, actually. I hear these rumors about an Android with a particular talent for roughing up Saiya-jin, and it looks like I might have found who they was talkin' about. You look a bit worse for wear, but those little repair bots of yours look mighty handy to patch that right up.'' He'd carry his heavy frame over to a sturdy rolling chair, pulling it close and taking a seat. Folding his arms in his seated position before letting them hang loose over his lap and knees, he'd get right to the point. ''Name's Kiwano, and i'm on this planet under orders from the N-PTO, or Neo Planet Trade Organization. I'm not sure if'n ya heard of us or not, but point is, we're not too fond of them Saiya-jin either.'' He'd give the Android a few moments to process his words; he didn't look so good. ''Now, the reason why this is important comes down to my orders. The N-PTO wants to prolong this civil war between North and South as much as possible. More Saiya-jin casualties, more damage to their economy and infrastructure...with the South bein' at such a disadvantage, ya can probably guess what i'm here for. Not long from now, i'm lookin' to make part of the South one big N-PTO forward base and take out any o' them monkeys what don't agree with my methods. If it all goes smooth, the weaklin's will be takin' orders from us, and our field command. I'm not sure why, but the N-PTO wants this planet. Bad. So the plan is, we take the South under our wing, then hit the North. It ain't gonna be easy, that King of theirs up North is a real tough bastard.''He'd then grin to the Android. ''Which is why i'm here to see what you'd think about joining up. The Kiwano Force would be awful glad to have ya.''

While the Durian sat patiently awaiting the robot's response, instead he heard nothing back. Maybe the being was wrapped up in its own repairing thought processes, or maybe this whole experience was a little jarring after all of the obvious damage. In either case, Kiwano would rise to his feet, dusting himself off a bit. He'd tap a few text commands into his Scouter to report his findings back to base. Potential ally met. Android. Busted up from a recent scuffle with an unknown. Possibly the King, but likely not as the unit is still intact. Will follow up at a later date. Scooting the chair back away from his person, he'd turn his back to the robot and offer a simple gesture of goodbye, waving his hand over his shoulder. ''Welp, whenever them repairs wind up completed, you do go on ahead and look me up if you like the sound of what i'm offerin'. I'll be in the neighborhood. After all, this planet stayin' in its civil war would benefit us both. Think it over.''
He would return to the entrance of the lab, stepping out into the wasteland sunlight before slowly taking to the air. He had plenty of objectives and directives to meet, but the order of their completion had been left to him. It was hard to get anything done without some serious muscle; the Saiyans around here were some tough customers, so that left him with one option in mind. He was either gonna go train, or cause some trouble. Probably both. (As for now, i'll mark this thread finished as having gone inactive. I'd like SP, o'course. Retasu hook me up would'ja? )
