As with any RP group, there are rules that are expected to be followed and respected in order for the site to be able to function in a fluid manner with no issues. If you can go on without breaking any of these rules, everyone will benefit from it from staff to members.
All of these rules pertain to both threads/posts, Shoutbox, AND Cbox.
Thank you!
All of these rules pertain to both threads/posts, Shoutbox, AND Cbox.
Thank you!
- ENJOY YOURSELF!: This rule doesn't get a lot of attention, but despite all the rules, regulations, and making sure you don't deface Dragon Ball as a whole, the entire premise is to HAVE FUN. So, make sure that you do. Now here comes the slightly less fun rules.
- Be of Age: In accordance with ProBoard's ToS, all players / users must be at least 13 years of age or older in order to participate. Anyone found to be under 13 will be banned.
- Act As You Would in Public: Unless you're a total jackass in public. In short, be respectful, be kind, and act like an adult as best as you can while pretending to be a DB inspired character on an online RP site. We're all here to enjoy ourselves, we don't need to take your crap when we all have enough to deal with in our own personal lives.
- WATCH YOUR $%$%^#$ MOUTH!: No one is here to be your mother or father, but don't take the cursing to the extreme. Any offensive words of hate will not be tolerated and will result in an instant-perma ban if done so maliciously.
- Keep Your Hentai to Yourself: Keep the site PG13. No posts involving sexual acts. Ever. If a married couple enter a thread with the woman pregnant, we all clearly know what happened, there is no need to describe it to us. No one wants to read it. If you have to scratch that itch, there are ways to do that. Just keep it off the site.
- Staff Rule is Final: We are all open to suggestions, and if you have an idea we encourage members to post it in the Suggestions section. However, if staff rules on something that is final. Do not continuously bring it up, that's a sure fire way to get yourself handed some bans.
- Plagiarism? GTFO: Immediate ban. Forever. This is a dice based forum, but there are some instances where solo threads can be done, and WE WILL check to see if they have been posted elsewhere before. Even if it is yourself that you are plagiarizing, we will punish you. BE ORIGINAL.
- Make Your Presence Known: If you are going to play alternate characters, do not attempt to hide that. It is crucial that we know who you are and who you play, as voting scenarios are restricted to ONE VOTE PER PLAYER, not PER CHARACTER A PLAYER HAS.
- YOU ARE NOT A GOD!: So don't have your character act like one. Respect the dice and do not godmod. Also, NO MEANS NO. If you ask a player something and they are unwilling to do it, that is final. Do not push the issue. Any complaints will be taken seriously and looked into, with punishments sure to follow.
- Cheaters Never Prosper: Do not try to delete posts or re-roll dice for better rolls. It's impossible. Dice rolls are predetermined by the plugin the absolute second you click create a thread. Once the thread is made, that dice roll is final, even if you were to edit the post, delete the string, and re-post it. Your roll will ALWAYS be the same, trust us we've tested this extensively. And to make sure that we are all not trying to cheat, the deleting of posts is forbidden and turned off for members. Staff will handle posts that need to be deleted in whatever way is said to be the best. We can see your every move, so no funny business!
- What're you, a klepto?: Really didn't have anything clever for this one... but in short .. DO NOT USE ITEMS THAT YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO HAVE. If you are waiting for an item to be approved, please wait until it is approved. Punishments will be handed out for players using items that they do not own, whether on purpose or accidentally so always be mindful of your purchases and inventory.
- My Character Isn't Fun Anymore: Well, it appears you don't enjoy your character anymore, for whatever reason. You can choose to archive them permanently or temporarily. If you simply want to give them a break, we can put them in the Retired Characters section, and when you are ready to return them to play let us know. If you wish to permanently retire them, you can take 50% of their total EXP OR 50% of their total Zeni and add it to a brand new character. Once this transfer is done, that character is permanently retired and cannot be brought back. SP cannot be transferred whatsoever. Any transfer that gets done is final, so make sure it is DEFINITELY something you want to do.
- An Extra Note on Transfers: Also, if you already playing more than one character but want to archive one, you can still do an EXP or Zeni transfer BUT a character can only get a transfer once, even if they were brand new at the time. Meaning, if you RP as characters A and B and decide not to play B anymore, you can do your transfer to character A. However A can not get any more transfers, even if you make a new character and decide you do not want to play THEM anymore.
- Multiple Characters, One Player: Each player is allotted 4 character slots in total. If you are at 4 total characters and want to create a new one, an only character much be retired or archived.
- There's a time and place for death: A character is not allowed to kill off another character unless it is a death match battle. Respect that. No matter the difference in power, the result will not be death unless it is stated as such before the match begins and it is agreed upon by all parties. In a result where a character can be absorbed and is willing to do so without a death match the gains are less. Check the Species section to read up on that.
- No Defacing Member Profiles/ The Site Itself: This is more of a staff rule over anything. No one is allowed to deface another player's profile. Harsh punishments will be handed down in response to this.
- No Metagaming or Cross RPing: Do not EVER, and I mean EVER think it is okay to either Metagame or Cross RP. In short, that means do not use OOC as IC or vice versa. Be mature and understand that this is a game, and while everyone may not get along do not cross the line. Remember what is IC is IC and what is OOC is OOC. If you have to be told more than once you don't belong here.
- All Rules Are Subject to Change: Yea. I went there. But, understand that as the site evolves, more rules may need to be implemented or even removed or changed. Be respectful of that.
- More to come ...
