His diversion had worked; the King had focused more on the threat of the energy orb than on the Durian himself, and it allowed him to flank him, tackle him right into it, and stomp the breath right out of his body! After the hard stomp supplemented by his ridiculous weight, the King managed a hasty escape by tucking in and kicking away, rolling to his ragged, wobbly feet. It seemed he'd struck a nerve, though. The King was now absolutely, certainly enraged at that little ''running away'' quip. With a roaring scream, his opponent's energy flared. Here it came again. That one really, really painful attack in the King's arsenal. The beam headed for him again with seemingly more velocity than it had yet, leaving him awestruck as the pillar of energy swallowed him whole and carried him away. It delivered him straight into a rock face, caving it in around him in a makeshift tomb before detonating and sending stone shards all across the landscape like a grenade. For a few moments after his agonized roar, all the Durian could see was black. Did he still have enough to get up? Could he dig deep enough to rip his victory from the jaws of defeat? He couldn't let it end like this. The brass back home would hang him up to dry if he came back a failure. He was the Captain of the Kiwano Force! That meant something, and it was high time to show this damned Saiyan exactly what that was! With a booming roar summoning the last of his conscious vitality, huge chunks of stone would be flung away from his would-be tomb, cracking and splintering against the landscape as they landed. The smaller chunks began to lift and break apart in the wake of his energy, his aura becoming a swirling whirlwind of bronze light. Clenching his teeth and narrowing his eyes, he knew it all came down to this. This was going to be the final round. These last actions were going to decide who walked away. ''King or commoner, I don't care!''I WON'T LOSE TO A MONKEY LIKE YOUUUUU!''In a powerful, valiant charge, Kiwano would make his approach! No more tricks, and no more vanishing! This had to be the blow to settle it all, and he had to focus on throwing everything he had left into these last deciding moments! Quickly closing ground, he would rear his fist back before his feet met the ground right in front of the King. Beginning with a one-two palm strike, he'd draw them both back in and attempt to smash them into his guts! He'd then try to finish him off by grasping him by the back of the head and one of his legs, then lifting him up and yanking him back down to shatter his body against his knee in a back-breaker to knock him unconscious!

Retasu's entire body trembled violently as the very last bit of his ki energy left him, unable to even keep himself on his feet for very long. He hobbled forward on unsteady legs, flinching as he watched the large body of the Durian plummet to the ground and drop like a stone, colliding with the ground after that intense ki wave was fired. Left hand went up to his right shoulder to grab at it, relaxing a bit as he had figured this one was over. "Tough bastard... Better go grab the body, though. I'm sure someone will come around here sooner or later and---..." Retasu's ears suddenly perked at the sounds coming from Kiwano's landing spot. "Th-There's no way...! You've got to be kidding me, it's impossible!"
Kiwano's mighty roar rung in his ears, not having the time to react before that burly form rushed towards him after the explosion of his energy nearly decimated the surrounding area, chunks of stone and earth flung in every which way, pushed around by Kiwano's last remaining bits of energy. Clenching his teeth, the blazing Durian slammed those palms into his body once again, knocking Retasu backwards to the point where he may have slipped and fell, especially after the gut shot knocked all the air out of his lungs. He would have fell over, too, had it not been for Kiwano grabbing him for that back breaker, that large knee slamming directly into the King's unprotected spine, nearly snapping it in half as his body jerked, eyes wide in pain, his lower half numb at this point from the damage sustained.
Though, still in that position, Retasu looked straight up at that bulbous, spiked head of Kiwano's, eyes fluttering nearly closed, as far passed his limit as he could be at this point. Slowly, his arms came up and joined at the wrist, cupping a sphere of ki that formed within them, ruined fingers grasping it tightly. His spine was still planted firmly against Kiwano's knee at this point, both hands holding Retasu's body down. He would use that to his advantage, looking to fire his final attack at "point blank" range.
"Heh'... win or lose... this Monkey King isn't going to let you just walk out of here without something to remember him by..."
In a fury, that sphere of ki let out another wave, though smaller in size than the previous pillar of energy he had let consume Kiwano, this one was aimed to engulf his head completely, and if he could take that melon clear off his shoulders in the process all the better. It was his very last bit of energy he could use before he felt himself nearly completely giving out. His hope was that with Kiwano's hands in use, he would not be able to properly block that final Hakai Hou attack, rendering the heavyweight knocked out or worse.

For a brief moment, Kiwano thought this fight had finally been finished. He'd slammed his knee into the King's spine, hoping to disable him and cause him to black out from the pain, but he'd managed to stay conscious. Before he could make a move to toss him off of his knee, the King got clever one last time. Summoning up what was likely the last remaining bits of his usable energy, he'd shown his intent to fire that damned attack one more time. ''This is it'', The Durian thought to himself. ''Looks like he got me after all. Bastard!'' From point blank range, there was little he was going to be able to do against this. The energy beamed roared out for what was likely the last time, swallowing his upper chest and that spiky skull as it carried him off into the sky, away from Retasu. The immense pressure of the compacted energy didn't allow him to make a sound as he rapidly ascended, carried by the attack, before it would explode in the air and send him into a tailspin back toward the ground. Smoke trailed off of his body as he quickly made progress on meeting the soil again, until finally he made his landing flat on his back. Thankfully, what was left of his armor helped to cushion the blow. Every inch of his body stung in intense pain, and he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to get up this time or not. Shakily, his fingers scraped in soil as he turned over, and he managed to struggle up to his hands and knees. Nearly falling over once again as he attempted to stand up, he would sway, off-balance, before being able to right himself. The injuries thus far had left quite a physical impression on the Durian; burn marks, scuffs, a couple of cuts, a nearly broken nose, and a trail of purple blood leaking from the corner of his mouth which he quickly wiped away. He saw the King lying there, still, and began to struggle his way over to him. Flaring his aura again (with a few failures before he could), he would manipulate his battle energy to force his body to press forward. As his stumbles slowly became a pained walk, he'd come up on the King and look down to him. He wouldn't admit it, but he'd grown to respect his tenacity in battle. He knew he couldn't kill him. Killing him would mean the South would take over. It would be smarter to leave him alive; if he defeated him here, the shame of it would cause quite a bit of backlash. He would reach down and attempt to clench one hand around the King's head, then lift him off of his feet. Wordlessly, he would begin to funnel all of that energy he'd summoned straight into his good hand, then narrow his eyes and coil back before delivering a heavyweight punch aimed right for the King's jaw to knock him out with a great deal of force. He'd release him upon the punch landing, letting him crash into whatever he was going to hit; rocks, dirt, anything. Kiwano had far been ready to finish this!

His blast having connected sent Retasu flying backwards, tumbling along the ground from the backwards propulsion. He landed in a tumble, still unable to move his lower half at all at the moment. Struggling to lift his lower half upwards, pushing up with a clearly strained expression, nearly screaming out a groan as he turned over to sit, leaning up against a large boulder. He was nearly out of it, blurred vision catching the Durian getting up and making his slow approach. "D-Damnit! So, this is how it ends?! Not even by the hands of another Saiyajin!" Blood stained teeth clenched tightly, expecting the worst as the burly beast stood over his form.
The next thing Retasu saw was blackness. That mighty fist shot out, slamming across the King's jaw and to send him upwards and flying clear away from the field of battle. His brain was scrambled, head rattling to the point where he instantly lost consciousness, descending down like a boulder cutting through the air, landing harshly down on the ground. Flat on his stomach, arms and legs splayed out with that tail unloosened from around his waist. It was all a clear indication that either Retasu was dead, or in the very least knocked out. Though his vitals were low, he definitely was not dead just yet. However, it wasn't out of the realm of possibilities that he'd get there soon enough without medical attention.
Retasu:3d47 | HP: X/705GP: 0/6 Retasu has been KO'ed! Nice one, Kiwano .. if you want to do an exit post you can, or we can throw this up for grading. Safe to say Retasu is not going to be answering anyone or anything in this thread anymore.

His mighty energy-fueled fist soared in with an incredible impact. The blow landed just as Kiwano released his grip, causing the King to sail away. Watching closely with an eye closed and grunting in half-pain, half-exhaustion, he hoped that this was going to be the end of it. He watched his flight end as he roughly collided with the ground, tumbling and rolling to an abrupt stop. What, no fancy recoveries this time? Maybe he'd finished him after all! Pounding his chest a few times and loosing a booming roar of valiant victory from his lungs, his battle shout would echo over the wastes. He'd won! He took a quick look at himself to assess his own injuries as he felt his battle energy begin to steadily drop to its normal level. He was banged up pretty badly, but it was nothing the doctors back on Gokkano couldn't handle. He'd have to rely on first aid until then.
He began to slowly approach to assess the damage as he collected his Scouter, placing it over his eye and thumbing around on the controls to open up the N-PTO channel. He finally arrived at the limp-looking King, kneeling down and pressing two of his fat fingers into his neck to check his pulse. He was still hanging in there, alright. Bringing his fingers to his Scouter, he would begin to speak as he walked out of earshot of his opponent just in case. ''Kiwano, reporting in!'' ''Kiwano! Report your status immediately! You can't just drop contact for that long without a warning, especially on Daikondu of all places!'' ''I'm in the Wastes, with one unconscious Northern King.'' ''...You beat him? Kiwano, you were sent strictly on a recon order! Why did you have to go out and pick a fight!?'' ''We needed to know what we were up against. This guy's scary. He almost got the better o'me, but now i'm still standin', and he ain't. What's that say?'' ''I'll report your success immediately. How about a field report? Do you think we're ready to launch phase one?''
Phase one is what they were calling it, huh? Fancy. All it meant was a few pockets of soldiers being sent to Daikondu to set up a forward base and lay low, more to keep an eye on things than anything else. ''You better not be sendin' any greenhorns over here. Only make 'em fight if they're found out, or they'll be dead a couple seconds after their boots hit the ground.'' ''Understood. We'll look to the stealth force for that, then. What are you planning to do with the King?'' ''I'm not sure yet. If I off him, then the South might move in and get comfy. Can't be havin' that, pardner.'' ''He's best left alive. Do what you want, just don't kill him... yet.'' ''I'll figure it out. I'll be tryin' to find a way off this dust-ball in the meantime. Kiwano out.''
Closing the channel, he would turn and approach the King again. ''How's about we take you home, pardner? Reckon you could use a nap or five.'' Crouching down, he'd lift the King up and over his shoulder. He was heavier than he looked, and from what he remembered after tossing him around so much. Slowly floating off into the air, he would begin the trip to land somewhere near the Northern Capital. Not too close, however. Seeing their King brought back by his foe might have sparked some violent reactions. Instead, he spotted a canyon trail to land in. Resting Retasu up against a tall rock, he'd lift his hand to the sky and fire a thick bronze energy blast, serving as a flare. He paced as he waited, and a few moments later a patrol showed up to check things out. As one charged in upon seeing the Durian, he held out one hand to stop him and stepped to the side, nodding back at the unconscious King. Kiwano and the group shared glances as he stood back; they clearly understood by how the Durian and their King looked what had happened.
''Take him home. I ain't here t'kill ya, pardner.'' Wordlessly and with looks of anger, the patrol reluctantly turned back toward the Capital with the King in tow and made haste to get the King some treatment. Limping over to a nearby cave, Kiwano would duck inside and dig around on his belt for a small capsule with a first aid kit. Popping it open, he'd begin to disinfect and dress his open wounds, sitting next to a small makeshift fire near the back of the tunnel he'd set alight with his energy.
He couldn't stay for long, though. The last thing he needed right now was a raiding party. It was time to go home.
