[ 2d34 // 300 EXP ] -- This takes place in the stands of the WMAT -- It was against his better judgement to be here, for sure. He would have much rather been back at his developing base of operations, overseeing the completion of certain things than sit here and watch these martial artists, or lack there of, duke it out for the right to be called the greatest fighter under the heavens. And to make matters worse, that old fool, King Tsuno, was donating millions of Zeni to the cause, despite all the millions he spent on fixing up and re-creating this stadium from the original Earth. Also, the winner would get a relic of sorts, a Dragon Ball. Regardless, Awamori sat towards the top of the stands, not really caring to be front and center like everyone else. It was better this way. His trained eyes could still see what they wanted. Sitting there in an expensive looking grey suit, a white button down shirt under it with no tie and the first button left open, he watched with those blue eyes of his everything happening below him. He was waiting for someone, though, purchasing two tickets which left the seat to his left open. A comrade, as it were, someone who had a specific set of skills he could put to use for his grand operation for the planet.
Onigiri, figured this was a good spot for Awamori and Onigiri to start their plot.

The day to day ventures of a hitman always ended up in an amusing sort of balance. With time being split between fulfilling contracts and negotiating new ones, Onigiri had found his schedule fairly packed as of late. As he'd finished up a contract a couple of days ago, however, he was met with something out of the ordinary. He had been contacted by an anonymous party, extending an offer to meet at the upcoming World Martial Arts Tournament. It was something he would have liked to have participated in himself, but such a thing would have drawn too much attention to him and he worked much better under the radar. Suiting up in his business clothing, he wore a dark suit and white undershirt with a plain black tie and black slacks with dark shoes, finishing off the ensemble with a brown leather belt. He'd decided to entertain the offer, of course. It was very rare indeed for someone to find him. He typically worked off of rumors or open requests, being the first to establish contact due to his possibly conflicting personal code. If nothing else, it would give him a great opportunity to scout out exceptional fighters to best down the road. So it was then that he made his way to the tournament grounds that morning, watching from a standing position as the formalities were said and done with and the brackets were established. Now that things were truly getting started, he peered over the mass of seats carefully. It took him a little while, but he eventually spotted a sharp-dressed individual with an empty seat next to him. Making his way over and taking the stairs to approach, he would keep things casual until he could possibly get a hint of if he had the right person. Clearing his throat, his eyes would flick down to the empty seat. ''Taken?'' He would ask, simply. If he was welcomed to sit he would do so, but after asking he would keep his eyes toward the ring. If the man before him was perceptive enough, he would have been able to notice Onigiri's eyes keeping perfect pace with the action without missing a beat; his constantly shifting glance would stay glued to the combat, causing the hints of an excited grin to turn at the edge of his lip. ''Looks like i'm right on time. It should be interesting to see what level of skill they can boast.''

It wasn't quite time to go down and be selected for the final eight slots of the tournament but Giya knew she would be in them when the time came. In the preliminary fighting matches before the final eight matches of the tournament, she had beaten every man, woman and child she had come across in the ring in spite of her pregnant condition. All of the humans she was asked to fight before being put up to be selected for the final eight matches had been weaklings. It was such a bad situation it bored her enough to wander the martial arts tournament grounds and end up in the stands. When she got there she found herself quickly grabbing all the salty, sugary food she could get and buying it all. She'd wander around with a mountain high stack of treats until oddly enough she sauntered into the area Onigiri and Awamori were going to sit. This was entirely by accident because she couldn't see over a pile of at least 12 hot dogs, three bags of popcorn, a huge box of nachos, a bag of fried chicken wings and at least two ginormous bags of candy. Dangling from her waist were also two large battles of soda holstered in her pockets like giant hand guns. The woman had never done this sort of thing before but her body's internal computers were going haywire for some reason and mentally sending her one message, "Eminent danger possible in all upcoming battles. Prep all body functions for combat. Create energy reserves for extra usage in battle. Set all defensive measures possible." And so, if anyone found her she'd be at some of the highest bleachers right now near Awamori chomping down on more food then any being ever cared to eat or puke up for that matter. Some people who tried to sit down next to her were so shocked they kind of started to slide away five then ten feet from her to get away from the strange woman they had heard was going to be entered into the tournament. A lady who was pregnant of all things and yet had the knack to fight even though she looked like she was consuming a truck load of food. It wouldn't ever be healthy for a normal human being to eat this much food but ever since she'd become pregnant and lost a great deal of her ability to never eat she found the need to snack when she wasn't doing something. The need to consume and in doing so make far more energy then she wanted for her body. The young women was happily indulging herself until she noticed buckets of grease covering her hands at the end of her food binge. "Urgh..." she growled to herself while hardly paying attention to those around her. She barely looked down from the stands while the final eight people who were to participate in the fighting tournament finished up their battles.

Patiently, Awamori waited in his seat for his associate to show up. The match ups had been announced and things were about to set off for the tournament. Eventually, a blonde man had made his way over to Awamori asking if the seat next to him was taken. Onigiri. That was the only name that Awamori could find, nothing else. If it were his real name or a code name, the elder male did not really know nor did he care. He knew little of the man, but was able to find out that he was actually one of the last remaining students of a martial arts master that taught a deadly style. It was a style that even the most deadly professional hit men could not master. With a nod, Awamori motioned to the seat next to him. "I believe it belongs to you, Mr. Onigiri."
He could tell that the blonde male was keeping up with the match that was just beginning. Two Saiyajin were about to duke it out, both males and young enough in age where they would be capable of only getting stronger from here. A true threat to the Universe. His eyes floated over next to him, seeing Giya for the first time in several weeks since their trip to Gokkano. She had been announced to be taking on an Earth-2 native named Cornatto but was not likely due to start anytime soon. However, with these aliens fighting matches could last for only a few minutes, if that. He addressed her, somewhat coldly as she had gone AWOL on him the day of their departure and had not said a word to him since then. "I was glad to see you made it off Gokkano alright. I take it you had no issue getting back to Earth-2." Her eating habits were atrocious at the moment, eating enough for likely their entire section of seats. He arched a single brow at her. "Should you really be eating so much before a fight?"
His attention turned back to Onigiri, and if he should sit next to him he'd motion towards the ring. "Those two are Saiyajin from the planet Daikondu. Born and bred warrior race with seemingly no limit to their power. The younger they are the more deadly if they are actually out battling, as they gain more experience in battle they become stronger and stronger. They are the perfect fighters in that sense. Their rate of gaining strength is astronomical, probably more so than any living being that we know of. They were long thought to be extinct, however there seems to be a backwater planet that houses them, completely off the grid. They seemed to have found a way to survive." He made a face, nearly a frown before continuing. "Threat level maximum."

It seemed his would-be colleague had done his homework, alright. Before he'd had the chance to introduce himself, he was already being called by name. That was usually a clear sign of someone having at least some sort of connections. Awamori noted that the seat belonged to the hitman, and with that response he would claim it. Behind the pair, Onigiri took note of the woman shoveling down food in such a voracious manner it had begun to scare off anyone who'd purchased seats near her. He could have sworn she was one of the fighters participating, though. Maybe she was just killing time before her next match? Even still, why so much food? Stuffing yourself full like that then getting into a tournament-class fight like these was just asking to get sick. One well placed strike was all it could take to empty her stomach right back out! He decided not to concern himself with it too much. He was mostly just here to scout talent anyhow and keep an eye on the red-headed swordsman. Awamori would then turn to the mystery woman and strike up a small conversation. So they knew each other then? He heard the word ''Gokkano'' mentioned, and ''getting back to Earth-2''. So they'd certainly spent some time together then, for one reason or another. He would then follow Awamori's motion toward the ring, and listen to his explanation. He explained that the two fighters in the ring were from what sounded to be a race of warriors with an incredible level of combat growth. He could feel their Qi from here; both offered surprisingly potent readings. ''I can see why,'' Onigiri would respond to the note of their threat level. ''Fighters like that are common among their people? It makes one wonder how our Earth would fare if they decided they didn't want a backwater planet anymore.''
Of course it was no real secret that Onigiri was an incredibly rare exception among Earthlings. Most had no idea what Qi was, and others still were novice martial artists with no grasp of it whatsoever. If there were other species born into such a level of strength, that could spell a lot of trouble in the future. ''It's a good first look on what exactly is out there, don't you think? Even if it does make my skin crawl. I'm not exactly fond of giving a species like that a sneak peek at our world.''

Giya continued to eat even though everyone from the stands around her was starting to leave. The reason being she was pigging out beyond any level of human possibility and it scared them. When she heard Awamori speak though she finished up all that she had level and chucked her containers over her shoulder flinging them with pinpoint accuracy at a trash can's open cover top. She did need to speak with him so she focused her eyes on his face and simply responded, "Allocating a ship was not impossible. I found my way back thanks to 'hitching' a ride with the Arcosians," sounding as if she had sneaked onto a ship to get home. In actuality one could say she wasn't a stole away within their ship but actually invited by them. The details did not need to be discussed further then what she said though. After saying this she sighed and then, "BUURRPPP!!!" a loud sound echoed through the air as gas escaped her lips from all the fatty food she consumed. She covered her mouth and stated on eating too much, "Yes, my protocols actually have been demanding it of me since my last fight only a short while ago. It seems my programming think my torso isn't protected enough to keep myself or child from harm in the upcoming fights based on the power levels output displayed." It wasn't a hard fight but her body calculated after the fight she'd need to build up more lipids/fat to protect the central portion of her body guarding her growing child. She then giggled and added as a final note, "Don't expect me to look so thin from this point forward. I may simply skip past the gaining weight that slowly occurs over the next few weeks or months in a few minutes here in order to protect my body for the rest of the tournament by giving it the energy I need. Yet don't worry... I'm a robot so it won't hurt. Energy production is an infantile worry for me. I should have enough power for my child and I to share if I just focus. I'll just look fatter from now on though I guess." Awamori

His eyes never left the fighting stage as the two Saiyajin began to duke it out. Their power was incredible, not that he could feel their ki energy at all, but the force of their blows could nearly be felt from the seats. Cobalt blue eyes narrowed a bit, nodding to Onigiri's response to him slightly. "Yes. It is a good chance to get a look at them. Thankfully, I am somewhat familiar with them due to my time in the Royal Military. Despite our relatively peaceful time, our mother planet did not share the same fate. This version's military beefed up their security with advances in space travel. We know about the Saiyajin, as well as that horned being." Awamori stroked his goatee a bit, leaning back in his seat. "That one was an Arcosian. Most of the intel we acquired on them points to the fact that they are space pirates. Deal in the buying and selling of planets. So seeing one of them here is most unsettling to me, possibly more so than the Saiyajin. However, that's about all we know. They typically don't come around in droves, and they are quite rare to see out in the open like this. As far as that... other humanoid being, I'm not sure what he is." He was referring to the Demon, Mazohn, who did not resemble anything in his acquired data.
A heavy sigh left him, focusing his attention to Giya then. "Well, if you are confident that you can keep your child safe I will be rooting for you. There are quite a few humans fighting as well, it seems. I would like to see you make it through as Champion. I am most interested in that relic that's part of the grand prize."
It was all he said, moving his attention back to the fight ahead of them.
