Just what was this little monkey boy up to? When his attack hit square, the boy seemed to just stand there instead of attacking the insane Pirate back. This only infuriated him more. The hyper aggressive being was out for blood and violence. And if Luo wasn't going to try and attack him he would not wait. He'd make sure the Hybrid regretted giving him a second chance to follow up and do more damage!
Hopping backwards with those blades in his hands, the pirate would once again send a surge of energy through his body. Those blades glowing red hot with his own energy being pushed into them. Before long the possessed being would slam both blades into the sand below them, firing another two, large crescent shaped energy blasts towards Luo. They'd rip through the sands at a fast pace and aimed to do as much damage as possible!

Finally reaching a powerful inner calm, Luo's energy was honed and focused throughout his body. His eyes opened once again, and he couldn't tell if the creature that once called itself a man-creature was feeling any sort of worry or was unsettled by the fact that Luo hadn't immediately decided to strike back. He'd watch the pirate hop backward and repeat his energy maneuver from before. That was bad. It was a consequence Luo was willing to accept though; if he could just hold his ground and keep himself centered, if he could just merely focus for a little while longer and endure this attack he was positive he could bring an end to this fight! He watched as the two energy constructs were loosed his way. Grounding himself, he'd spread and plant his feet more widely and hunker down to try to endure the attack as best he could. Wincing as they drew near, he'd grit his teeth as his energies finally swelled to their boiling point right as the attack from the pirate made contact. The blasts detonated on contact in response to facing Luo's own ki, causing a small explosion and covering a good portion of the small island in smoke and dust. For a few moments, things were silent. Inside that cloud, there wasn't a single muscle of movement. Luo stopped to wonder if anyone else would be scared of this outlandish display. This seemingly common pirate had been overtaken by something sinister, turning a person once capable of speech into something that spoke in tongues and fought with blood-lust. Any sane person probably would have called it a day. Nut Luo, though. He was way too stupid for that. Feeling the stinging burn against his skin, a set of two lacerations had opened up at each shoulder, luckily having been mostly burnt back into a seal from the explosion. He was in a lot of pain, but he wasn't going to give up now! ''I hope th' ol' man was right. If'n I did this right, I should'a gathered up enough energy 'ta end this thing here an' now!''Suddenly bursting from the smoke alighted in his white aura, he soared just above the ground with his sheathed sword in that same pose. In a flash, he'd blur from sight leaving a kick-up of sand in his wake as he sprung forward to even further assist his speed. He'd rocket his free fist forward and attempt to drill it into the pirate's gut from below to pop him off of his feet, and then turn sharply with his heavy rotation to bring that bound weapon around with ki-soaked fury to slam the weighted scabbard right into the back of the pirate's neck! He was going for the knockout! ''HYAAAAAAAAHHHH!''

The blabbering, possessed fiend was proud of his handiwork. The explosion filled his eyes with a sense of pride and excitement! At the moment, all this pirate lived for was death and destruction! But he could only relish in his handiwork for so long before that little brat made his presence known once more. Flying through the smoke and debris he created, Luo would be heading straight for him. A growl escaped him, and as Luo's fist shot up to his gut, the pirate was able to flip up and over his body to avoid it, bending his back almost otherworldly in nature to avoid that scabbard strike to his neck as well.
On the ground, he'd roll away a safe distance from Luo now. So, he wanted to play games did he. Kipping up to his feet the Pirate would let out a shrill scream, an aura of deep, purple energy exploded around him as his energy seemingly flared up once more. With both blades at the ready, he'd rocket off towards Luo once more!

Honestly, it had been a maneuver Luo had never attempted before. In his line of work he had almost never come across an opponent he couldn't handle just by sticking to the basics he knew best. Unknown to him his half saiyan genetics had played a large role in his success, where for some reason his dire temper could unleash incredible things. He was capable of projecting energy just fine, but when he internalized it like he just tried to do he was much less experienced. His body and senses were awkwardly unfamiliar with how to handle the increased output of speed and power, evidenced by the possessed pirate avoiding not one but both of his attacks with an uncanny finesse and reaction.
After the pirate's evasion, he would ready those blades again as his own malicious energy began to spike. Was he being mocked? Oh hell no! Back to basics it is! He kept his eyes focused on his opponent as he darted at Luo, and it was clear he was up to something devilish. Sprinting at a high speed right toward the pirate to curb his momentum, he used his own sprinting momentum to throw his upper body into a mighty haymaker aimed straight at the pirate's jaw! He would attempt to follow up afterward with a leaping ax kick aimed to the top of the pirate's head.

The Hybrid appeared to get the better of him, as he met the Pirate halfway and smashed that haymaker into his jaw. Sent reeling backwards, the final blow, that mighty axe kick to the head, would seal the deal. He was seeing stars, for lack of a better term. Teetering backwards again before seemingly tripping over something that appeared to be a large stone and landing on his back in a heap. Whatever evil entity was within the Pirate shot out of his body in a burst of purple light, screeching as it disappeared into the sky above.
Though this fight had ended, the large rock that the Pirate had tripped over sprouted flippers and a head! Looking around, as if wondering if it was safe to come out, the large sea turtle would offer up a smile of thanks. "Oh, thank goodness all the fighting stopped! I was just out here enjoying the weather when that awful fighting started." He'd begin to turn himself, facing the ocean before looking back at Luo. "You wouldn't happen to be looking for the Kamesennin, are you? I can take you there. I live with the old Turtle Hermit on his island! You seem like someone that would benefit from his training! ... As long as you're not a bad guy."
Luo has defeated the Pirate and has gained the attention of the Turtle Hermit's friend! He has offered a ride to the warrior to go see him! Possessed Pirate2d30 HP: 37/36 // GP: 4 Transformation: None // Effect: None Items Used: None Luo Hanzhai

Luo roared out with vigor as he charged forward, watching the pirate's energy begin to swell. As his feet stomped prints into the sand, he hoped he'd make it in time to bring a quick stop to whatever his opponent was planning; the longer this fight had gone on, the more powerful and skilled this guy had become. Hurling that haymaker with all his might, he was met with satisfaction once his fist collided with the pirate's face. Wasting no time as his heart excitedly skipped a beat filling him with confidence, he would leap upward and stretch his leg up to bring it down with shattering force. He felt his heel collide with the top of the pirate's head, who now looked plenty dizzied but was somehow still standing. He was teetering and stumbling a good bit, though. Keeping his eyes locked on his opponent in case he wasn't out of the fight by some miracle, Luo watched his back foot catch a rock and send him onto his back. A strange, unsettling force leaked out into the sky moments later, causing Luo to stare. Was that the strange force he'd been fighting all this time? His attention was quickly diverted however when the rock began shaking, giving way to the extension of a pair of flippers...and a head? What? Shaking the nonsense out of his vision, he'd refocus his gaze as the creature began speaking. A talking turtle wasn't the strangest thing he'd come across today, but normally zoanthropes were the animal-looking beings that spoke, not the actual animals themselves. After all, he'd just spoken to a bull earlier today that was all loads of grumpy and stood on two legs. The turtle expressed relief that the fighting had stopped, and Luo couldn't help but to agree with a nod of his head. He relaxed his posture and let out a relieved breath. The turtle then queried as to if Luo had been looking for the Kamesennin; the Turtle Hermit. Through all this excitement he'd momentarily forgotten why he was even out here in the first place, but with that reminder he quickly remembered. ''Yer sayin' y'live with th' Turtle Hermit on 'is island? Kinda like a roommate? I'm lookin' for 'em, alright! I'd appreciate th' lift. I got th' better o' that guy, but he still did a number on me.'' At long last, it seemed like things were finally starting to look up today. Retasu
