The fight had seemingly been going on a different route from how it started; from the mere spar against the King to a personal question-- or at least to the Low-Class. Totoma didn’t really even want him around in the first place, what he was interested into was making himself an idea-- estimation of the King, and hopefully break a bone or two.
Ah, well. Not everything ever went as planned, and however, the spar’s flow would have altered, meant close to nothing to him. As long as he would have had the chance to focus onto Retasu for once, he could have called it a day.
His eyes set on the fellow Saiyajin as he was apparently checking upon possible damage done to his jaw, but then he let his overconfident expression turn into a more serious one, his gaze shifting towards the King. “Ee, (“Yes,”), he does.” - he replied, his eyes once more looking upon the Low Class as he spoke, earning a sigh from Totoma. It was sure annoying having to be so discrete; the Saiyajin was not a born an Elite, after all, he could somewhat realize where the old man came from but the difference was… that he did it. He had become an Elite.
Although, attacking Tartus had given rather a nice opening to Retasu as he landed a few hits on him, and also breaking his guard; grimacing slightly as he had not seen his next movie, his kick coming to him, being pushed back as he let another opening open for the other Saiyajin.
“T-that bastard… I… No, I don’t want to cause a mess here by revealing myself… but I’ve always tried to keep my activities in the South anyways. So, they shouldn’t know much. after all… not even Retasu knows that we share the same blood.” - he thought to himself, frowning at his other opponent; Tartus had apparently decided to make his move.
He went for a strike that hit him quite nicely, his head turning to the side as the force behind it sent him a bit away, lifting up a little bit of debris from the floor. He stayed still for a few moments, taking in the pain he felt from both Retasu and Tartus’ attacks, but then he cracked a wide as his head turned to look at Tartus.
“Yare yare. ("Good grief."). You do know how to use your fists, old timer… too bad you don’t seem to grasp any of my words. All three characteristics you mentioned seem to be more of a stereotype to me, nor do they have anything to do with what I meant earlier. I’ve earned my place; I was born weaker than you, old geezer. But, I don’t think any of that really matters right now… I’ve come here today for one reason only…” - he said, glancing upon Retasu as his fists clenched. “For our dear King.” - he stated, his feet pressed against the ground as he pushed onwards; launching himself towards the King with a jab, attempting to push him back before trying to connect with a back fist right into his face.

Totoma rolled 2 damage against Retasu! Totoma rolled doubles, 17 & 17! Follow Up Attack!! Totoma , GO!!
So, this is a neat mechanic we have. In any match, when a confirmed hit has doubles in it (the doubles must count for damage) the attacker gets to go again. In terms of more advances matches, with techniques and enhancers, this attack doesn't involve any of those things. Instead, it's just straight up with the attacking dice.
Because Totoma rolled 17 and 17 which are 1 point each, and doubles he gets to go again with another attack. It does not necessarily have to be an attack on Retasu again, either.
Only one Follow Up Attack per Main Attack. So, if he rolls doubles again he cannot follow up once more.
Anywho, Totoma give it another go!

Totoma’s expression filled with excitement as his fists connected, he couldn’t help but feel like the feeling he was going to get from battling Retasu were surely going to be better than anything he had ever done in his life-- not to mention the day he’d fight him one on one, it was surely going to be quite a match. "It seems I've actually come here for something today, haha. Yes, this was totally worth it!" - he thought to himself.
The one who had so openly challenged him to finally land a hit on; it felt good. While he could have hit Tartus, again, he was not interested in that, no… he had gone that far to listen to Retasu’s speech and his madness, and he couldn’t just miss the chance to beat him down.
He burst out in a laugh, his grin as sharp as ever. “Doushita, Retasu? (“What’s the matter, Retasu?”), I was expecting more… or perhaps you’re trying to disappoint your own Empire? Or is it that you’re trying to shame your own dynasty?” - he taunted him, trying to get a reaction out of him or something, drawing back his fists before launching them against the fellow Saiyajin in a flurry of punches and kicks.
Totoma was really curious to see how the fellow Saiyajin, not to mention cousin, would have reacted to such a provocation. It was sure going to get interesting.

Totoma rolled 0 damage against Retasu! Retasu, GO!!
And sometimes it doesn't work out. Totoma had an opportunity to capitalize with more damage but it didn't work out that way. Mostly because our dice are so low! In more advanced battles, Retasu would've definitely gotten more punishment. Remember, our dice right now are very weak. Out of 20 sides, 1-14 are misses, only 15-20 are considered hits!
Anyway, let's keep going!

This Saiyajin seemed tough to beat. Even after he had struck him, and Tartus had followed up with an attack of his own, Totoma remained confident in his words and abilities! He watched as Tartus sent him flying backwards with his attack, but it didn't take long for Totoma to regain his composure. His words caused Retasu to lift a single brow in question, but before he could process what he was saying, Totoma had launched himself in his direction. Unable to do much, the back fist would connect against his face, causing Retasu to teeter backwards, a stinging pain pulsating on his chin where he was struck. He'd bare his teeth, grinding them together, a bit annoyed now. "Chikushou! ("Damn it!") He's fast. So is the other one. This was definitely not what I was expecting to walk into. They're definitely not low level warriors, no matter how much they argue about their status. Either way, this is getting exciting..." He could feel that Saiyajin blood boiling now, his body coming alive with excitement over the prospect of a great battle. With that quick thought over though, he'd hear Totoma's taunting words, his eyelids narrowing into slits, glaring a hole right through the man that appeared to be near his own age.
As Totoma came at him with those punches and kicks on his follow up assault, Retasu would deflect them with his hands and arms. He'd keep up a pace with him, not allowing him to break his guard at all. One of those punches was caught within his palm, enclosing his gloved fingers around it with a grunt, his tone a bit more serious now than before. "Anata wa shaberi sugi." ("You talk too much.") With that, he'd attempt to lift up one leg, while keeping that fist tightly clasped around his hand, and shove his knee deep into the armored gut of Totoma. If he was able to strike him full on, the impact would hopefully had been enough to drive the air out of his lungs for just a few moments in order to bring his other hand up to grab the same arm, twist his body and hurl the Saiyajin over his shoulder, attempting to physically throw him out of the ring!
After all, not EVERYONE could fly. Right?

It was agreed to by all parties that the HP can be dropped down to 15. 20 is a bit too high for a Mass Spar at d20 dice. Changing this now.

Whenever Tartus thought of an Elite, he always assumed they were born into nobility. Not because he didn't know about low class working their way up, but because he didn't want to admit it happened. Tartus spent his entire life working at that very goal, even when he realised it was out of his grasp, he pushed his children to achieve that which he could not. He had sacrificed everything in the pursuit of becoming an Elite, and he had failed, leaving him with nothing. As he realised that Totoma was one of the rare few that had made the leap across the classes, Tartus began to shake. Forced to face his own failure, memories of his dead children were drawn to the fore. "H... how.... how could a kid like you?.... " The aging Saiyan's mind ran like a train. Not only had Totoma made the transition to become an Elite, he had done it whilst he was still young. Totoma wasn't just an Elite, he was the embodiment of everything Tartus would have been if he wasn't such a failure. As Tartus was forced to contemplate his life, in a way alcohol had prevented for years, the battle raged on. Totoma and Retasu traded blows, all the while Tartus stood alone, visibly shaking. Normally he would resort to a hard drink to clear his mind, but he was in the middle of a fight. Even if he forfeited, he had no money to buy a drink. As his mind spiraled down a familiar path, the faces of the audience began to morph. Contorting their features into the faces of his children, covered in blood with the blank stare of death in their eyes. "ARRGHHHHHH!" Tartus screamed into the air, clawing at his face in desperation, trying to remove the visions. Turning to face away from the crowd, he caught sight of Totoma and Retasu still locked in combat. Their faces slowly began to change before his eyes. "NO! I won't let you do it!" Bellowed Tartus, possibly sounding like a raving mad man to anyone listening. Acting quickly, the low class Saiyan charged towards the nearest of his opponent's, which happened to be Retasu. Unable to look him in the eye for fear of seeing his own son's face, Tartus unleashed a volley of punches towards the King's stomach.

Retasu’s reaction was rather obvious to anyone, especially to Totoma; that was what he was looking for, after all, to pull a few strings and see what could have happened. It sure was interesting to see how Retasu turned more serious than usual as the Saiyajin spoke, his grin growing wider, regardless that the fellow Saiyajin had managed to block his blows. One of his fists being caught and held tightly by the other Saiyajin as Totoma continued to push it forward, without much of a result. “Heh. Maybe I do.” - he replied, his body fading away as Retasu attempted to kick him in the side.
The Saiyajin now stood not too far but more than just a few feet away from Retasu, his arms folded on his chest as his gaze slowly shifted towards Tartus, his grin faded and replaced by a serious expression as he glanced at him questioningly; what was his problem?
Totoma had tried to push the button with Retasu, and while it somewhat worked, with Tartus it seemed as if someone had ravaged his pride. He watched him charge towards the King, blinking as he tried to figure out what could have caused that.
“Do what?... Huh, curious.” - he thought to himself, letting out a sharp exhale as he attempted to butt in the fight between the two other Saiyajin and tried to connect with a haymaker.

Retasu continued to clash with Totoma, locked in an exchange of fists and kicks. This one, much like the older male, was much more than he anticipated. He felt a rush of pride within him, pride for himself and his own people at what they were all capable of. They were both a hair short of their prime, and had a long way to go before their potential would hit a wall. Their kind was limitless, the warrior race known as the Saiyajin, strongest in the entire Universe. It wasn't until Totoma had blurred away from vision that Retasu finally took notice of Tartus, screaming in rage.
He'd shift his body in an attempt to block Tartus' attempt at an onslaught, but was not quick enough. The raging Saiyajin would pummel his armored gut with heavy fists, banging and clanging against the durable material several times over, lifting Retasu off the ground with each hit. Finally, taking one deep, painful breath of air, the Northern King would let his hands come out to block one final punch to his stomach, gritting his teeth and glaring at Tartus. "Mind your anger, old man." His voice was very serious in its tone, squeezing gloved fingers around that fist in order to prevent him from doing any more serious damage. However, once again Totoma made his presence felt, throwing a sharp fist at the duo, striking Retasu mostly with it causing him to take a tumble backwards.
"Damn it. I can't get anything in like this. Tch." His thoughts piled in, trying to figure out the best way to go about this as he regained a defensive stance for a brief moment. He'd rush off, moving towards the duo as quick as he could, blurring away from vision for a brief moment only to end up directly above Tartus, dive bombing down onto him, right foot extended out in an attempt to slam directly into the side of his head.

Retasu's words fell on deaf ears, Tartus was barely aware of his surroundings as the visions took control of his perception. The old man was fully incapable of minding his anger, he wasn't even capable of knowing where he was. The arena and crowd that surrounded him in reality, had all but faded from existence to Tartus. The landscape had now morphed into the Central Wastelands, he was back on the mission that broke him. As Totoma attacked the King, Tartus couldn't tell if he were friend of foe. His mind struggled to marry up what he remembered of that fateful day, and what he was before him. As the confusion set in, Tartus simply froze up, staring directly at Totoma. Who was this man, why was he here? In the aging Saiyan's mind, he was no longer fighting in a friendly tourny, he was on the battlefield. He had become separated from his squad mates, there could be southern soldiers anywhere. Then his mind made the connection, shifting his perception to a new version of reality. This unknown fighter before him, he had to be a southern soldier. Totoma wasn't one of his squad mates, and this far south in the Wastelands, an unknown soldier could only be from the southern empire. "Southern scum!" Tartus screamed towards Totoma. The grief at losing his family to a southern ambush pushed to the forefront of his mind, thanks to his delusions."You took them from me, so I will take everything from you!" But before Tartus could launch an attack, Retasu's foot slammed into his cheek. The unexpected impact knocked Tartus through the air, his prone body flying directly towards Totoma.
